Hon Chemistry 1-10-12 Hydrogen Emission Spectrum & Bohr Model

HON CHEMISTRY: I figured anybody who ditched his honeymoon to finalize his work on atomic theory deserved to have his picture on our website. (And, by the way, great job making like electrons today – way to role play!)

So, do you think he’s right – or wait, are they waves? What did you think of the animated version of the double slit experiment? Corny, I know, but it really has a ton a great, very accurate information. Let’s talk more Monday and see what you think then. By the way, I’ll put it in the Vodpod below, if you’d like to review it again.

Physics 1-10-12 Collisions & Bouncing

PHYSICS: Who knew ping pong balls could bring so much fun! So why did they shoot so far- you figured it out yet?

You did a great job on setting up the problems in class today – now on to working them tonight! How are you doing? Check for connections between the conservation of momentum and the conservation of energy. You can do it!

Chemistry 1-10-12 Applications of Radioactivity, Pt. 2

CHEMISTRY: Radioactive isotopes all around! Did you ever dream there were so many applications of radioactivity? This is a pic of a test used to check on blood flow through the heart during a stress test. Fun, huh!? Click on the link below the pic to learn more from Cedars-Sinai hospital.

Here’s the lecture from Tuesday. Let’s finish the chapter tomorrow!
