Chemistry 4-29-24 Electron Configuration Notation

CHEMISTRY: Great job with electorn configuration notation today! No audio on the recording today, so I’m posting a lesson from last year.

Just when you were getting the hang of drawing arrows, I go and change it! But don’t you think writing electron configuration notation is a whole lot shorter than doing orbital notation? Don’t get me wrong, knowing how to do orbital is great for seeing how the electrons are paired, but this way is waaaay shorter!

Be sure and practice with the homework tonight, and don’t forget to use the Aufbau “chart”!!!!

  1. One thing I am struggling with is what we are learning right now. What I am doing to help me is doing the homework and paying more attention in class.

  2. One thing i struggle with is trying to bring myself to focus on my studdies as i feel like i know all of it before i get to the test then i blank on it and it has kept me from making a a on a test

  3. Something that I have struggled with that we have learned this week is, the orbital notation. Counting the arrows, bc i always seem to get off by either 1 or 2. I also struggle a little bit with the Aufbau Chart.
