HON CHEMISTRY: Great job using conversion factors to work more advanced conversions! It’s good to able to convert from one unit to another, but can you use that info to solve a real world problem?
Remember, this isn’t just about getting an answer – some of you can do that in your head. This is about being able to convert from one unit to another using the Q-formula. (And yes, you have to do it that way!). Now go forth and conquer!

This week, my triumph was making an A on my SI Units Quiz. I took a lot of time and studied in advance to make a good grade.
This week, my triumph was that I actually learned things in my classes instead of regurgitating information onto test. I did this well because I studied a couple days before the test instead of the night before/the morning of.
This week, my triumph was becoming comfortable with doing unit conversions. This is a result of seemingly extensive practice.
This week my triumph was learning how to motivate myself better to do homework.

This week one triumph I had, in chemistry, was understanding how to put the conversions I could do mentally onto paper so others can follow my work. Being able to do this will show that my work is valid (and it’s the only way I will receive credit).

(second post because i accidentally messed up my name on the first)
This week, I struggled the most in my study tactics. I waited until the last minute to cram and try to just memorize everything, and ended up not memorized everything I needed. This caused me to get a bad grade but I think I’ve learned from this mistake.
This week, I triumphed over my quizzes and tests this week. I got a good grade on most of them. GOD IS GOOD.

I can apply the skills that chemistry has taught me in everyday life, like being prepared for future things ahead of time. Chemistry has also taught me to stay on top of things, just like I need to stay on top of my health and work in life.
