CHEMISTRY: Great job today learning to name binary ionic compounds – and even begin to write formulas! Tomorrow let crank it up a notch and write formulas for compounds with polyatomic ions. Speaking of those, how’s the memorization coming. Word of warning – don’t wait to the last minute!!
Super important – the secret for the next few days is DON’T GET BEHIND! Keep up with me and practice, practice, practice!

Wow! This chapter has a lot of information.
This lab is confusing, but your explanation today helped a lot!
where can we practice writing formulas?
The IPAD games are fun and will help me with this chapter.
After everyone else’s difficulty with the take home lab I’m kind of worried about how easy I found it.
What kind of labs will we be doing with this chapter?
Knowing where the elements are on the periodic table has helped with binary ionic compounds!
Thank you for giving us time in class to play the games on the ipad! they helped a lot!
The ipad games really helped, and it was a fun way to learn.
The two ipad games helped me learn faster than I would with the book
The Ipad games really help, I have them on my own Ipad now.
The take home lab was not as hard as I thought it would be.
I hope I can memorize these formulas for the test!
does natrual gas have a formula or is it just a mixture of gases?
I’m glad you gave us the polyatomic ions earlier in the week to memorize.
The games on the iPad are really helping me study for the quiz on Monday.
Thank you for showing us the games on the ipad I think it will help me prepare for the quiz on Monday.
It has helped to know the periodic table so I can configure out the binary ionic compounds a lot faster.
I’m glad we got to use the Ipad on Wednesday. It helped me remember some of the polymatomic ions.
I’m struggling a little bit with this lesson. When is the next help session?
Adding the poly atomic ions to the binary equations made them even more interesting.
The lab this week was really easy once I started to get the hang of it!!!
The chemical formula’s are kinda difficult. I need more practice with them.
The ipad games really helped me learn where the elements are on the periodic table and what their charges are.
I liked using the Ipads this week to learn the Polyatomic ions.
I liked learning about how basic things that we use like baking soda have chemical names and formulas.
This chapter is so interesting! I can’t wait for what is to come!
This seems kind of challanging but with a little work i can do it.
Polyatomic ions are so interesting. Thank you for your help!
I really enjoyed playing the games on the ipad this week! It helped me learn the polyatomic ions a little bit better!!
The games on the ipad helped me learn some more of the elements.
The games on the iPads helped me with the elements!!
I’m glad we’re going over chemical formulas again – I had it in IPC freshman year and forgot a lot about it 🙂
The crossing over method is probably the ONLY easy part about this chapter. Can’t wait to see what else is in store!
Thank you for posting this! I’m very excited to learn more about chemical formulas!
The science in the news is a good grade booster yay.
the testing over the polyatomic ions was very helpful
