In scientific notation, if a zero is a significant figure, do you include it in the notation? Ex: 5.300 x 10 to the second power … in this case, both zeroes are significant because of the decimal
Yes. 5.300 x 10^2 has 4 sig figs.
How high can you go up to when it comes to sig figs?

I really enjoyed this weeks learning experience. I never knew so much went in to chemistry, who knew that math would come in handy in more ways than one. Oh and thanks for this mornings help session!
