  1. My goal for the 2nd semester is to have an A in chemistry, to do this I will stay ahead of all my work in chemistry and of my other classes. As well as studying easy prior for tests/quizzes and not cram in all in the night before.

  2. My goal for the second semester is to be prepared and not get behind. I can study for quizzes and tests ahead of time so I am not stressed to do it in one day. I also want to try to really learn the material rather than just knowing it for a test and then forgetting. I can do this by trying different ways of studying that help the lessons stick in my head.

  3. My goal for this semester is to strive for an A on every test. The point of this is to make sure I put my best efforts forth and prepare as much as possible. The way I will achieve this is by being prepared every day, thoroughly understand all the material, and ask any questions I have if I am confused.

  4. My goal for the second semester is to learn more study habits to understand what we are learning/doing along with being more prepared for tests and quizzes. Last semester, I started to do better throughout the tests, but still struggled on some of the memorization or math for quizzes. I want to use this semester to go off of my study habits I started previously, along with making them better to feel confident in any quizzes or tests we get. This can also help me in future classes as well.

  5. My goal for second semester is to do better on memorization quizzes and give myself more time to study for them. I can achieve this goal by making note of quiz dates from the syllabus and set days aside for studying the thing we are meant to memorize.

  6. My goal for second semester is to do better on memorization quizzes and give myself more time to study for them. I can achieve this goal by making note of quiz dates from the syllabus and set days aside for studying the thing we are meant to memorize!

  7. My goal for this semester is to study harder to earn more stars. To accomplish this I will study harder in advance. Last semester i didn’t study until the night before and when I did it was only for an hour. So this semester I am going to study better.

  8. My goal for the second semester is to memorize material for longer than just the next test or quiz. I want to be able to apply what I learn better, but the first step for that is memorizing well the material at hand. For example, I don’t really remember my periodic elements and that is frustrating because I have to relearn them. I would also like to keep an average above ab 88 in chemistry this year.

  9. My goal for this semester is to apply the information I have memorized. This is something that really hurt me during the first semester, because when it comes to memorization I do fine, but when it’s time to apply I’m not sure what to do. I am going to try and be more active in class and start asking questions more to make sure I truly grasp how to do certain things.

  10. My goal for the 2nd semester is to work on my time management skills! In order to meet this goal I will plan out when I need to start studying/do homework to stay on top of things. I also will work on not procrastinating on assignments.

  11. My goal for this semester is to give myself more time to study. I want to have better study habits. To meet this goal, I will plan out what days I will go over each lesson.

  12. My goal for the second semester is to get all of my assignments done on time and to keep track of all the homework and tests/quizzes we may have. I can work to meet this by making sure to set aside plenty of time for me to finish all of my work, and to make sure to check my syllabus throughout the week so I’m always prepared.

  13. My goal for the second semester is to not procrastinate my studying so much. I never gave myself enough time to study, or study correctly which caused a lot of stress that I can fix this semester.

  14. My goal for the second semester is to not procrastinate when it comes to studying for test/quizzes and to get an A on at least one test. I can set aside enough time in advance to study instead of waiting till the last minute in order to meet my goal. If I start studying more in advance I will be more confident and ready going into the tests which will hopefully lead to me getting an A on one of them this semester.

  15. My goal for this semester is to study and be more prepared for tests. Last semester I would wait till this last second to study for I test and I found myself being up late at night trying to cram in my studying. This semseter I want to study ahead and not just memorize it but truly be able to apply it.

  16. My goal for this semester is to not miss any of the homework and do better on quizzes and test and end up with high B or A and the end of the school year. I can help myself to meet this goal by pushing myself to stop all procrastination I did last year and take better notes and change my study habits.

  17. My goal or my new semester resolution is to be early to get schoolwork done. I am setting this goal to achieve better grades and take weight off my shoulders at the end of the week when everything us usually due. This will also help me study more effectively and efficiently. I am going to separate my work into parts when it is given and do the parts of that work everyday so i wont have a crammed night of just work and not know how to apply that topic.

  18. A goal for the second semester would be to continue to do my work with the same motivation and degree of perfection. I can accomplish this by setting time strictly aside for chemistry related work/studying and taking pride in all of my work, so that it is the best I can do.

  19. Scientists have discovered that a type of fungus that emerged during the 1950s on the United States’ eastern coast has now spread to almost all fifty states, causing lung infections in many people that have come into contact with it. While infection from this Histoplasma fungus is rare, it is still very possible to become sick from these fungi. In a typical case, the person is able to recover without medication after experience mild to severe flu-like symptoms.

  20. My goal for the 2nd semester is to be prepared for class everyday. Whether that means having properly studied for a test or quiz that day or printing off the lab and having read it. I want to be ready for class and know what to do as soon as i walk into the classroom.

  21. My goal for the second semester is to study efficiently. For example, not procrastinating and setting time to study and prepare for chemistry. In addition, I need to read the syllabus in order to prepare for class the following day. Studying efficiently will help me be consistent in the grade I have in chemistry.

  22. My goal for this semester is to get better grades on quizzes, labs, and tests. I have learned from last semester to study 1 week advanced for test and be prepared for labs. One thing I will have to really improve on is memorizing, because I memorized the material, but after few days I forgot the material. So this semester I will memorize material well and remember it for the whole year.

  23. My goal for the second semester is to procrastinate less and be more prepared when coming into class. I can achieve this goal by giving myself more time to study before quizzes and tests. To be more prepared I can read the syllabus at the beginning of every week and make sure I have everything I need for class.

  24. My goal for the second semester is set a goal to make an A on every test. Put more time into actually studying the material deeply and not just looking over it briefly. Last semester I did not prepare myself at all for the tests but this semester I will be putting time aside in my free time to study chemistry.

  25. At first, the James Webb Space Telescope was only finding large Jupiter-like planets orbiting around stars. However, that changed on December 13, when it was reported that the telescope was able to see the atmospheres of known rocky exoplanets. While these rocky exoplanets have already been discovered, it has been hard to study the composition of the atmosphere. Now, however, the JWST now allows scientists to view the chemical composition of the exoplanet’s atmospheres, which could prove useful in searching for habitable planets.

  26. Science is showing that teens typically tune out the sound of their mother’s voice because they tune into the sound of stranger’s voice more regularly. In children, their brain familiarizes with certain voices and hearing those alerts them to pay attention, but when reaching the age of puberty teens, especially girls, tend to not be as alerted by their mothers voices. Other voices become more important and teens begin to give their attention to the wider world and expand social connections.

  27. My goal for the second semester is to finish with a A. I will start my studying with more time ahead then last minute memorization. I can accomplish this by studying multiple ways to see Wich way would allow me to do my best on test.

  28. My goal for the second semester is higher grades across all tests. I can overall improve on them by studying ahead further in advanced to allow the information to sink in and I can use the time I have to study to work hard and focus on studying.

  29. My goal for the 2nd semester is to do better on labs and tests. I will prepare for labs by listening to all instructions and coming prepared to do it. On tests, I will study beforehand and truly understand the topics (not just memorize). I will also try to pray before every lab and test that God will help me to do it to the best of my ability, because even though I may be prepared, I still need God’s peace in it.

  30. My goal for the second semester is to be more prepared for test and quizzes. I would also like to find a better way to study for them so I will be able to recall any information I have learned while taking the test. I will achieve this by checking the syllabus daily and reading the check off list for test and quizzes and studying differently than I have been.

  31. My Goal for 2023 in chemistry is to have a minimum of a b average and to do all my homework and web post for the rest of the year and also Improve my study skills for this class

  32. My Goal for 2023 in chemistry is to have a minimum of a b average and to do all my homework and web post for the rest of the year and also Improve my study skills for this class I Will achieve this by checking syllabus daily and taking better notes in class.

  33. My goal for this semester is to make As on all of my tests and labs. For tests, I need to study farther in advance and study more applications. I also need to think deeper for the questions and conclusions in my tests and lab report.

  34. My goal for the semester is to get a star on the wall. I will do this by studying harder and not procrastinating before tests. I will also improve my study habits when doing this.

  35. This semester I am not going to miss a web post. Procrastinating on doing my web posts each week caused me to miss out on easy 100s on assignments. I will also do this at the begging of the week and set reminders each day.

  36. This semester, my goal in chemistry is to do all of my webposts. I will do this by setting a reminder on my phone and setting a shortcut on my phone to take me directly to this website. I will also improve my study habits by learning from my mistakes form last semester.

  37. My goal this semester is to do all my webposts. I will do this by setting reminders and planning ahead so I don’t lose points on my final grade.

  38. My goal for the second semester is to not lose motivation. As the year goes on, it is very easy to start going through the motions. If I begin to do this, I will almost immediately see negative effects. To meet my goal of not losing motivation, I need to fix my schedule at home. This means not starting on homework late and feeling tired the next day at school.

  39. My goal for the second semester is to study more ahead of time instead of last minute and remember to do all my web posts. To achieve my goal, I will try to be more ahead and have more motivation to do my work. I will also set reminders on my phone for the web posts.

  40. I have several goals for this semester, but the most prominent goal would be to stay on top of my work. I will achieve this goal by setting reminders or doing my work before it needs to be done. Along with that another goal is to learn how to study for the test. I will also try to achieve this goal by studying the week ahead of the test.

  41. My goal for the 2nd semester is to work on my time management. I will put my work before things I would rather do on my personal time. I will also try to work on things as early as possible instead of procrastinating.

  42. My goal for this year is to stop procrastinating on some of my assignments and stay on top of my work. I also want to start studying for our tests more in advance so I can properly attain the material. I want to implant long lasting study habits and a good mindset going into this semester.

  43. My goal for this second semester to grow higher in my grades and effort for chemistry. I’ll do this by gathering everything I’ve learned last semester and apply everything for my goal to succeed this semester. I also need to strive for my goal in order for me to accomplish it.

  44. My goal is to not overwork myself. I tend to put on too much and break down. I want to remember to do all (or at least most) of my web posts and homework. I’m going to use my planner and alarms. I’m going to try really hard.

  45. My goal next semester is to get an A and be better at memorizing not just for the quiz or test but for the future. I will do this by reminding myself of webpost and study a little at a time at least a week before hand.

  46. My goal for the second semester is to try harder and understand the material more. I can always memorize different material for the tests, but I always find it hard when I have to apply it. In order to reach this goal, I will try to practice more problems for the tests that deal with application to where I can understand what I’m doing instead of just memorizing. I will also try doing the review games more often then I do to help me.

  47. My goal for second semester is to get an A on all my tests. I can achieve this goal by studying more in advance. I can also take good notes in class and write down the applications given.

  48. I have two goals for the second semester. One of which is being less careless on tests. The second is to involve myself in class more. I’d like to step out of my comfort zone and ask more questions and involve myself more in class discussion.

  49. My goal for this second semester is to do better on my test and mange my time better. What I will do to accomplish this goal is to study more before hand instead cramming days ahead. And to mange my time better I would stop getting distracted at home and turn off all devices and study for an adequate time. And to mange my time better while taking test at school I will learn how to work at a faster pace but efficient pace.
