CHEMISTRY – Hey guys, so is all the info on SI measurements starting to come back to you? Here’s the lecture from today – our beginning discussion of fundamental units. I’m sure it’s mostly review from your physical science days, but it’s a great opportunity to refresh what you’ve learned and to get ready to begin using it!
Did you remember the prefixes and units? Start work on memorizing them NOW – SI quantities, units, and SI prefixes. For the prefixes, also make sure that you can tell me how many of something in the larger one. (That’s what I explained in class.) The quiz on them will be Wednesday, August 23.

I struggled this week with the technology 101 assignment. I asked for help and figured out where I went wrong. If I struggle with technology anymore I can go back to the assignment and look on where I went wrong.
I struggle with all the new tech information and new things that I have to click on on the website. I was very confused on the web post and the locations of all the different things on the website. To overcome my struggle I am going to ask question to Mrs. Skinner and to former chemistry students about the website.
This week I struggled with preparing for chemistry class in advance. To overcome this struggle in the future, I will take a look at the weekly syllabus daily in order to know what to expect each day so that I will come prepared and not forget about homework, either.
This week I struggled with the build a boat lab report. I got home and couldn’t remember how to do anything. I didn’t remember how to change things into a PDF or turn it in to TII. But then I remembered the instructions were on the website and I went and looked back at those and it helped me do my assignment right.
This week I struggled with formulas ,and the math part.in class I was trying to to to many times at once like write notes and I was being on the built a boat lab.So I got a little behind.I can overcome this by paying more attention and practicing it more.
This week I slightly struggled with finding what I was supposed to do with certain assignments unless it explicitly said what we were supposed to do. What I did, and what I will be doing moving forward is utilizing my critical thinking skills to infer and more completely understand what is being asked of me.
this week I struggled with the build a boat assignment and honestly just figuring out 10th grade and the work load and time management.
