CHEMISTRY: So you learned all the technical stuff about measuring in significant figures, can you apply what you’ve learned in real life? Today we went over some important homework answers and then started the activity for today. Below is our look at the homework.

IMPORTANT: Today’s assignment is one that you will complete at school. The program is on the school laptops in our room. You can also download this software on your computer and finish it at home, if you need to finish at home, come by and ask me and I’ll tell you how.

Here’s the assignment for today (Tuesday & Wednesday):

• Open the cLAB: Fundamental Science Skills – Measuring activity here on the website – under the Lab tab
  – Read and follow the instruction on this sheet VERY CAREFULLY!!
• Find the “Fundamental Science Skills” program on your computer and begin!
• If you finish a part in class, you can just show me instead of turning it in online.

HON CHEMISTRY: Great job today using sig figs in calculations! Here’s our look the last of the notes on using significant figures. Super important – especially the examples that we did together in class.

SI QUIZ:Another great thing we did today was go over the format of the SI Quiz and give some examples of questions that you’ll see on Wednesday. This is VERY helpful, especially if you weren’t in class today!!
