Hon Chemistry 1-25-22 Limiting Reactants

HON CHEMISTRY: So if you have 11 roller wheels, how many roller blade skates can you make? You know, really, limiting reactant is almost that simple. Well, the concept is anyway! You deal with limiting reactants in your life all the time. Now we’re just applying that same concept with chemical reactions! 🙂

    1. Rate/Reflect- So far this semester, I would give myself a 4.5/5. I feel as though I’ve kept up really well with assignments and knowing when tests/quizzes are. This is mainly because check the syllabus often and write down what homework I have every night. The reason I deducted half a point is because of my lack of speed in labs. I naturally am not the fastest person in labs, but I am working extra hard to try and be quick and accurate.

    2. Rate/ reflect: this semester, I give myself a 4/5 stars. I have done pretty well on all of my assignments so far, and I have caught on quickly to all of the new topics. But, I have still procrastinated a bit too much on lab reports and homework.

    3. Rate/Reflect: I would rate myself 3 out of five stars. I have finished assignments on time but I haven’t done them in a timely manner. I’ve been putting things off more instead of being more on top of homework. I still try to manage my time and work so everything I do isn’t school but I need to get back into the flow of school and assignments.

    4. Rate/Reflect- I would rate myself 3 stars for this semester so far. I don’t think I have been as efficient or organize on my assignments as I could be. Although I have completed all of my assignments, I have procrastinated a little too much on them. I could also manage my time better in lab.

    5. Rate: I would rate myself 4/5 stars because I did very well and understanding stoichiometry. Although I was scared at first that it would be difficult and I wouldn’t understand it, it clicked when I was doing the homework and I think I did very well in using my time wisely.

    6. Rate and reflect
I give myself a 7/10 because on certain assignments I didn’t give it all I had or study as much as I could but on other assignments, I gave it all I had and study as much as possible. I can fix these by studying better and in advance. I can also study but only to my limit and giving myself time to relax and rest

    7. R: So far, I think I would give myself a 3/5. I could’ve worked harder earlier in the semester, but I feel like I’ve been making up for the laziness. I’m doing my best to try and begin to pay attention to the smaller nuances of chemistry, like knowing how to start a lab and double-checking my work.

    8. Reflect: I would give myself a 3 so far in this semester. I think I have been semi-responsible when it comes to my work. There is a lot of room for improvement. For example, I shouldn’t put off my assignments until the last minute. I have improved on my labs though. I have read through the lab and have been more prepared. I still think I also need to improve when it comes to fully understanding what I’m learning in chemistry. I can improve by studying more.

    9. Reflect: I would give myself 4/5 stars because I’ve worked hard this semester and I’m proud of myself for the grades I’ve been getting. I’ve been studying better and learned what works better for me. I think I could do better on time management though and not procrastinating.
