Physics 11-13-15 Work Energy Theorem

PHYSICS: Great job today on making connections between work and energy! I think you’ll like using the work-energy theorem, it’ll save you some time and a couple of steps. Don’t forget about friction!

  1. Triumph: I feel great about our design activity on Wednesday! It was cool to see and apply Newton’s Laws in action as we fired our balloon rockets. I can’t wait until the next design challenge!

  2. I just witnessed physics in action!!!! Both football players were pushing against each other, and neither of them moved. That means that they were both pushing with the same force, and since they were equal and opposite, the forces cancelled, resulting in no movement.

  3. Triumph! For the first time, I got all the problems right on a homework assignment. I hope to continue getting the problems right as we continue through the chapter

  4. I rate myself 4 out of 5 for this week. I felt good with my homework this week, and I even finished Science in the News on Tuesday! 🙂 But I wasn’t pleased with my performance on the test. I hate it when I miss a problem on the test and then two days later it hits me how I could have solved it.

  5. Triumph this week I understood the work problems and am getting them right so far but I know they are going to get a lot harder. Sad face.
