Physics 9-10-12 Two Students, a Pelican, and a Rocket (Free Fall Problems Review)

PHYSICS – Happy Monday! Here’s the review we did of a few of the free fall problems today. How are you doing with them? As you are working problems and selecting formulas, it’d be a good idea to ask yourself “Why?”. Why can you use this formula? Why is it legit? Why is it the best one? Is there a better route to the solution? And continue to practice them over and over til it starts to become second nature!

Tomorrow lets take a step in the other direction and look at the concepts. Help session tomorrow morning at 7:15. Any questions?

Chemistry 9-10-12 Relationships Among Data

CHEMISTRY – Can you believe it? We finished the chapter today! Here’s the brief lecture from Monday on direct and inverse proportions. It is brief info for the test, and we’ll begin practicing some of it tomorrow. Meet me in the computer lab instead of in the classroom. Go ahead and log on to the website, Edline, and the online textbook.

Speaking of tests, one last help session tomorrow, Wednesday, morning at 7:15. BTW – go to Edline and look under “Tests” and you might find something that will help a lot as you begin to study. Yes, it’s time to begin studying; no, it’s not too early. And if you need extra practice on anything, don’t forget the help session Wednesday! Begin making a list of the problems you need help with or questions you have.

Also, don’t forget to check out the Interactive Review Games with your online text and also sciencegeek.net. Great practice with both memorization, concepts and problem solving! Good luck studying! I’ll be praying for you!!
