One new skill I have learned this chapter is how to balance chemical equations properly. I have also learned all the different types of chemical reactions and when they are used.
A new skill that I have found to help me a lot is truly memorizing all that I can that way when I’m working through worksheets and online assignments it comes to me immediately. Memorizing all of the parts of chemistry will help me with my test and quizzes. This is an important skill because of how often ut is used.
The skill I learned was how to balance chemical equations. I thought it would be a hard thing to do when I first tried to do it, but it got easier as time went on.
One skill that i have learned this chapter is how to obtain a lot of information. This chapter has had a lot of memorization which makes it a more difficult chapter to learn but prioritizing mentoring it is a big help. You cannot procrastinate which is a difficult thing to do but it truly pays off in the end. Dividing information up into simpler parts helps you be able to memorize easier.
A skill i have learned was not only balancing chemical equations but knowing the types and how to find the products. This skill took a lot of practice and reps but im glad I know it.
A skill I learned was how to balance chemical equations and balance compounds. Knowing how to do this has helped me greatly when I am doing online assignments and other homework.
Although we didn’t have class today, I’ve done well at keeping up with all the online assignments you’ve posted and completed them all. This is good because I haven’t missed any assignments and I also understand what we’re learning a lot better.
T- My triumph for this week was making sure I was on top of all of my assignments during the snow and making sure I am prepared for the lab, turning my work in for the next time we have class, and preparing myself for the upcoming test.
T- My triumphs of the week are completing all of my assignments, preparing for the Chapter 8 test, and preparing for the lab. I did well at this by holding myself accountable despite being out of school.
My triumph for this week was making sure I completed of all of my assignments during the break and making sure i am ready for the lab and the upcoming test friday
My triumph for this week was staying on top of all my work while having fun at the same time. I think I have prepared myself well for the upcoming test.
My triumph for this week was getting back in the swing of things and making sure I was doing of all of my assignments during the snow. I had made sure to be prepared for tests and I had to study for past quizzes.
My triumph this week was how I have been keeping up with my work during the snow days and not being behind on anything.
In class I feel like I’ve been paying attention well. Maybe its the pressure from the test, or just coming back from the snow, but I feel as if i’ve asked better, more informed questions, and consulted the syllabus before I asked them. These things combined are triumph enough for me.
This week I had triumph on keeping up with my assignments, and making sure I turn in work from the remote learning days. I’ve been doing this because, I need all the help I can get from homework, and classwork to boost my average.
A triumph I had this week was accomplishing the lab for making and testing for gas. I was able to do this because I watched Ms.Skinners vodcast and made sure I knew what was going on in the lab before actually doing the lab.
My triumph this week is getting all my assignments back after the snow break. I had a lot of assignments to turn in and was very stressed. I was able to turn them in.
I triumphed at getting all my work done and paying attention which helped me with my lab. Doing the part of the lab I was supposed to over the break helped me not day before or of the lab.
I triumphed this week by doing a better job of staying on top of work. This week felt very crammed. I think i decent job staying on top of it. As well as doing my remote work.
This week, my triumph was studying way in advance for the Chapter 8 Test. I wrote everything we needed to know on my whiteboard and went through each section and worked on things I knew I needed to practice.
I have triumphed this so far is finding the formulas (eventually) for the pre-lab with my partners. We succeeded in this by looking in the online textbook.
This week I did all of my work in one night well, because I had three red bulls and stayed focused.
This week in chemistry I did well on writing and balancing my equations for the Making and Testing for Gases Lab because all my equations resulted in the correct products, allowing me to experiment correctly.
This week in class I did well on my lab. The reason I did well is because I made sure I was prepared for the lab, and followed all directions given very closely.
This week I did good on my lab. I did good because I read the lab before and made sure I was prepared to take the lab.
this week i triumphed by reading through the lab and making sure i knew what to do, when to do it, and how to do it. then when the lab came i was finished on time and did the right expeirment and got the right answers.
This week in chemistry I did well on balancing chemical equations and predicting the product on the test. The reason I did well on this is because I practiced a lot and used flashcards for the 17 chemical reactions to help me predict the product.
This week despite being a short week I feel like I did well Turing in all my snow break work on time and in the correct format. I also triumped over the lab we did on Wednesday. My partner and I were able to multi task and get the lab done quickly and efficiently.
T- this week i was able to complete and turn in all my assignments during the snow break and i studied for the test more efficiently
This week i made sure i did all my homework and did all my assignments which is something i’ve been working on and i also studied well
This week I haven’t really done anything well, I’ve had many issues with online classes. I barely made it to school and I’ve struggled to readjust and keep up.
I have done well in paying attention in class and staying on top of work by checking the syllabus daily and focusing on lectures.
Something I triumphed this week was my lab, I did well preparing for it and executing the steps Mrs skinner gave us. I also did well doing my homework and watching the vodcasts for the test before taking it.
Something I triumphed this week was my Lab because I was well prepared for it and executed it very well without failing.
Something I triumphed in this week was watching the vodcast and studying for my test. I started studying a couple of days before the test and I felt like I knew the information better.
This week i triumphed in the chemistry lab because i read it well and looked through it many times. i believe that me and my partner did very well in this lab because we took our time and followed instructions.
R-Rate. I rate this chapter an 7.5/10. I believe that I understood the material really well and did good to practice and learn it well. I do think that there were a couple things that I could’ve done better, like turning in some of the HW assignments and look at the syllabus more closely.
I rate chapter 8 a 7/10 because I had to work really hard to stay up to date since I missed so many days recently. I’m very proud of myself for keeping up with my work and finding a way to fully understand the material against the odds. Although I could’ve done better checking the syllabus because I missed a webpost and forgot to turn in an assignment.
I rate chapter 8 a 6/10 because I had to work really hard to make sure I knew my information and stay up late studying and I thought some of the information was confusing
R- I rate myself a 3/5 stars on Chapter 8. I rate myself a 3 because I stayed on top of my assignments ,but I was unsure if I did well on my test. I did well and staying on top of my assignments because I frequently checked the syllabus and paid attention in class.
R- I would rate myself a 4/5 for Chapter 8. This is because I stayed on stop of my homework all of this chapter and made sure I understood everything and when I did not understand, to either ask and go to the help sessions in order that I would be ready for the test. Even though I made sure I was staying on top of my assignments, I missed one assignment over the snow. To prevent this in the future, I will double check that I have completed all of my assignments.
I would rate myself a 3/5 stars for Chapter 8. I made shore to turn in all my work ,but I know I didn’t do as well on the test.I regualry checked the syllabus and tried my best learning the material.
