Tests (chapter tests and quizzes) – 50% of nine weeks grade

Daily (homework, classwork, etc.) – 25% of nine weeks grade

Lab (activities, formal lab report and participation, most lab type projects) – 25% of nine weeks grade

• Formal lab reports are a journal type assignment that are graded at the middle and at the end of each nine-weeks. When lab reports are initially turned in, they will first be given a “completion” daily grade for being turned in to turnitin.com. This grade will be based on whether the parts of the lab report are completed. After the lab report is graded for content, a lab grade will also be given.
