CHEMISTRY: Do you feel like you have letter and numbers swimming in your eyes? This is one of those times that paying attention to details is super, super important! Here’s the lecture from today on writing formulas and names for binary molecular compounds. Part of it’s really similar to what you learned to do last week for ionic compounds, but another part is totally different. Details!!
Make sure you keep everything straight. Do something that will organize all the information for you, so you won’t get confused. Also, don’t forget the lists you have to memorize – it’s getting larger and larger!! And practice, practice, practice!!!
Need extra practice? Another help session??
This week I triumphed on learning and studying the polyatomic ions, I took several practice quizzes.
My triumph for this week is that I am beginning to understand polyatomic ions.
I’m so proud of myself this week! I was able to study the polyatomic ions in advance, instead of procrastinating, and made a good grade on the quiz!
My triumph this week was doing really good on the Polyatomic Ions Quiz this week and getting through the lab pretty fast and knowing/ understanding it throughly.
This week I triumphed in learning how to solve polyatomic ions and how to apply them.
My triumph this week was finding a better way to study by making flashcards for the polyatomic ions and doing well on the quiz
My triumph was being able to effectively study and memorize the polyatomic ions by studying with flashcards and doing the sciencegeek practice.
My triumph this week was learning how to solve polyatomic ions and how yo use them in chemical formulas.
My triumph this week was our lab this week.
My triumph this week was knowing how to name the polyatomic ions and also on the lab we did I understood the lab easily and got it done without any problems
Today I triumphed by memorizing and practicing the names and formulas of polyatomic ions. I practiced naming them in class, and I understand it well. I also made a 100 on the polyatomic ions quiz. I hope to continue doing good on quizzes and tests by studying and practicing to do better.
This week**
I struggle with getting the syllabus printed every week due to not having a working printer and not waking up early enough to come to school and print it off. I will do better by setting an alarm so I can wake up early enough to get to school and print it off before first period.
I struggle with memorizing. I will do better by starting studying early instead of that week or the night before. If I do better with memorizing chemistry will come easier to me and help my grade.
