Great intro to chapter 5! I think you’ll do great with the work problems, just remember everything from the last chapter and multiply by d!

Question: I keep meaning to ask you in class, and I always forget. Could you please tell us the actual mass of the unknown for the inertia balance lab so we can calculate percent error?
Rate: 3. I understand the last chapter, but the vertical force problems for some reason are causing me issues with the new work problems.
And Yes! I would also like to know the actual mass!
I rate myself a 4 out of 5 for this week. I understood everything we learned yesterday and thought the design challenges were a lot of fun. Now, all I can imagine is how hard these problems are going to get when it ties in everything we’ve already learned.

I rate myself a 4 out of 5 so far with this new unit on Work because I can figure out the problems and understand why and how to get the answer!
I’m actually understanding these ‘work’ problems! But, I sometimes I get confused on how to draw the picture for the problems. I enjoy the engineering design challenges because we can apply what we’ve learned in that chapter!
I really tink I am getting these work problems! However, I do agree with Eric. Sometimes the pictures are really hard to draw! Also, some of these homework problems from this weeked were difficult, but I am sure I will understand them when we go over them in class.
