Here are the vodcasts that you are REQUIRED to watch this week for homework. You may do it at your own pace, but ALL vodcasts must be viewed by Saturday night, midnight. I’m extending the deadline because of the football game Friday. (The first vodcast is the longest – around 50 minutes, but the next ones are around 35 minutes, and the last couple are only about 15 minutes. The Chapter 7, Part 1 test has been re-scheduled for Monday, November 10.

  1. Watching these vodcasts again is helping me realize what I did wrong on the pretest and is helping me prepare for the test.

  17. This week I finally figured out a method of memorization that really works for me, and it really helped me on the test today! I’m ready to finish watching the Brain Games video that we started on Wednesday tomorrow. It was really interesting and learned that multi-tasking is not really possible.

  27. Echolocation can be used to identify what and where objects are by listening for the vibrations that come back from the objects they hit.

  28. I leraned so much this week due to brain games. I learned that we do not pay attention as well as we think we do. We only focus on the big picture and not the little details around. I also learned our minds base on shadows to see and understand objects like in the basketball actvity. The way the shadow is place causes the basketball to look like it is doing a different actvity like dribbling or floating.
