God bless you as you study for your chemistry, honors chemistry, and physics exams! How are you studying? Best advice? Practice, practice, PRACTICE! Be active in studying – don’t just read over the material. Review games on the online textbook, reworking old homework problems, re-working those flash cards you’ve made – all good. Watching vodcasts of old lectures might not hurt either!
Here are the room assignments for Tuesday’s exam:
Hon Chemistry Rm. 301 (Ms. DeFrehn’s room)
Chemistry 2 Rm. 302 (Mr. Wilson’s room)
Chemistry 4 Rm. 303 (Mrs. Tapp’s room)
Chemistry 6 Rm. 304 (Coach Henderson’s room)
Chemistry 7 Rm. 303 (Mrs. Tapp’s room)
Physics Rm. 301 (Ms. DeFrehn’s room)
Don’t forget to bring your completed exam review packets when you come on Tuesday. Click below for a copy, if you need it. I’m praying for you!!
I would rate myself a 4 out of 10 because I felt like I could have done a lot better in the test than what I did. I am going to try and study harder for the exam to bein up my grade.
I would rate myself a 5 out of 10 because I did not do the best I could on memorization for the Chapter 3 and Chapter 21 test. I will make sure for the exam I have all of my information memorized
I learned this week that Rutherford made the gold foil experiment that helped him discover the atoms nucleus.
I rate myself a 3 out of 5 this week. I wish I would have done better on my test. hopefully I can do better on the exam!
I was able to understand the formula for average atomic mass. Do to doing the homework
I would rate myself a 2 out of 5 this week. However, I feel like I am improving and will be prepared for my exam. Thank you for the study guide!
Ms. Skinner I posted the human Power Lab to turnitin last night and went through the whole process, but i just looked back on it and it says it isn’t there, would you see if it’s like this on your end also?
Ms. Skinner did you say for #31-33 on the study guide (listing the poly atomic ions, common substances, and acids) that everything went down? Absolutely nothing can go across (such as: polyatomic ion name then half way over on the page, the symbol. The next line starts a new polyatomic name.)
I’ve really enjoyed the first semester of physics! looking forward to next semester
It was really helpful going over emperical formulas in class Monday
I give myself an 8/10 this week because i thoroughly understood what I was studying this week, but I did not finish my exam review. Thanks for a good first semester of chem!!
I rate myself a 4/5! I really understood the exam well! I think I need to work more on chemical formulas! merry Christmas!
