  1. Earth’s Lower atmosphere is rising because of climate change. Weather balloons are saying climate change is pushing up the upper boundary of the troposphere. Greenhouse gases are continuing to trap heat in the atmosphere, and the troposphere is raising higher in the atmosphere.

  2. Scientists in Asia have discovered a way to test for diseases via earphones. They use scensored earphones to test this. This could be a way to get people who are afraid of certain testing methods to test comfortably for dieases.

  3. Scientist have been puzzled by how oysters grow such round pearls. The team has discovered that the oyster use a complex process that follows mathematical rules. Pearls are formed by sand getting inside the oyster and the oyster protecting itself by building a smooth layer around it over time a pearl is formed. Each new layer of nacre built over this asymmetrical center adapts precisely to the ones preceding it, smoothing out irregularities to result in a round pearl.

  4. Scientists have discovered a type of plant, the fritillary species, that has the ability to camouflage itself from people who would seek it out. Scientists discovered this plant grows in the nearly accessible mountain side where it blends with the background, becoming completely invisible to the naked eye.

  5. Scientist have discovered a new diamond that was found deep in Earths surface. It is called Davemaoite and is supposed to play an important role in Earth’s mantle.

  6. Recently scientist have discovered new Plastic-eating bacteria. Plastic-eating bacteria is a bacterium from the genus Ideonella and family Comamonadaceae capable of breaking down and consuming the plastic polyethylene terephthalate as a sole carbon and energy source.

  7. Scientist had previously found that migratory birds are getting smaller as temperatures rise. Even a subtle decrease in size could help the animals stay cooler, researchers say.
