My triumph so far in chemistry this year is how I’m adapting to the technology-driven portion of this class. I was struggling towards the beginning (especially trying to figure out why this webpost hasn’t been going through, thus explaining it’s lateness), but now I think I am getting it :).
my application this week was using SI conversion In the kitchen. I Had to apply what I learned in order to convert measurements so that my recipe would be right.
I have applied my knowledge of conversion factors this week through swimming. My team has been practicing in a 25m pool instead of a 25 yard pool, so I have to convert my times that I swim in practice from meters to yards to know where I am at time wise.
My application for this week was using conversion factors in my car to convert m/h to km/h while driving. There was no particular reason that I calculated it other than I just wanted to find out.
I have applied my knowledge of kilometers when I read an article that was talking about length in terms of kilometers. So, so when it said that something was 200 kilometers away I knew that was around 200 miles.
I learned how to convert different units in chemistry class this week. I used my conversions when I was looking at how big the soccer complex was that I played at for extra practice on my conversions.
I learned to covert SI units this week, well more refreshed my memory on it. I applied it this week for at home football workouts. I had to figure out how far I needed to run because the loop around my neighbor hood is 1 kilometer and I needed to run 2 miles.
This week has been a 2 for me because I learned the hard way that you really can’t rememeber everything from every class without any help so I’ve been forgetting to do some work that I could’ve easily done and gotten a good grade on.
I rate this week as a 2 because online school is brain numbing, turning in assignments on PSL is a hassle, and it has been hard for me to pay attention to due dates as I easily forget when things are due. Although this week has been difficult to say the least, I will admit that it is easier to complete assignments due to the longer breaks between classes as a result of teachers sometimes ending classes early.
i rate myself 3 out of 5 stars on the Q-formula, I’ve been understanding how to start the formula but once i get farther on i don’t know when to stop dividing.
I rate myself a 1 out of 5 on the Q formula. I can not learn online. I need to be in front of someone. I try to learn it and try the problems but I just can’t seem to get it.
I rate myself a 2 out of five on the Q-formula, I have not been able to master the craft of the formula quite yet but I at least know how to get the number. I just cannot seem to figure out where to put the numbers in the sequence.
I would rate my self at 3 this week. I have had a lot to do with school and been pretty stressful. I have tried to do my best but feel like my grades are about to plunge. I think the reason is because next week is going to be really tuff because we have been away from school.
I struggled with online learning at the start of this week, but now I have become more familiar learning where everything is. By knowing where everything is has helped me improve in academics.
This week was hard and i mean hard. There was alot of mass and dividing and to be honest i still don’t understand it, but it’s ok i’ll try and learn it
I would rate this week a 2. I struggled with turning in assignments and it was very stressful. Online learning is a lot harder than sitting in a classroom and a lot harder to concentrate. I feel like I can do a lot better in school.

I would rate myself as a 2/5. Zoom I could not pay attention to very well but hopefully back in class will be better. I hope we don’t have to do zoom again.
I’d rate myself I’m a 3 in keeping up with homework for the week. And I think that would go with my other rating. I’d rate myself a 2 in Chemisty for paying attention. Just with being at home, I get distracted very easily even when I try to pay attention.

I would rate myself a 4/5 with keeping up with homework but a 2/5 with studying the materials. It has been difficult trying to orient myself to the fast pace environment of a college preparatory school especially coming from a school where things always came to me with ease even in my honors classes. The regular classes at NorthPoint are equivalent to the honors classes at my old public school.

id rate myself a 3 just because I did my work, but I struggle with the work and I have had to rewatch videos throughout the week and my time management has been really bad this week.

My triumph in chemistry this week was the hard quiz and taking efficient notes
my application this week was using SI conversion In the kitchen. I Had to apply what I learned in order to convert measurements so that my recipe would be right.
I have learned how to do scientific notation on my calculator
i had to apply my skills on the calculator and math to figure out the correct answer to the scientific notation.
My triumph this week is finishing the lab we did on Tuesday. it was very confusing for me and I am happy and thankful i got through it !
I applied scientific notation when using my calculator for schoolwork
I applied the SI unit table that I memorized in class , and used it in the kitchen this week.
I learned how to uses chemistry tools and this has helped me get the measurements of objects.
I used the SI unit scale this week and learned how they transferred. I used it for homework and measuring my room.
i applied my knowledge of knowing the SI units to help me know the units for the fundamental science skills work we did in class.

C1 C Mcknatt i have applied my knowledge of the SI units to conversions
I had to and am still having to apply myself to understand the conversions we started on today.
I have applied my knowledge of conversion into my daily life. I was driving and saw mph and changed it to mps.
I applied the lesson today of conversion when I saw a youtube video mentioning centimetres and converted it to inches. Without the equation of course.
I applied my knowledge of conversion when I saw mL on a measuring cup and converted it to L.

I learned (relearned) about SI units and conversion. I applied this knowledge when I saw mL on a measuring cup and converted it to L
I applied how to use my scientific calculator this week and how to use different equipment during our lab.
I applied what we learned with sig figs to my Fundamental Science Skills lab this week.
This week I learned how to use my scientific calculator on my phone and apply it to chemistry
I have to learn how to us my calculator.
This week I learned how to differentiate between correct and incorrect sig figs
This week i learned how to use different types of instruments to use for chemistry/ science.
I applied my knowledge of conversion when I had to covert tablespoons to milliliters when baking a cake for my moms birthday.

I would myself a 3/5 because I feel it’s very hard to focus while on Zoom, but I also turned in all my homework.
my rate for this week was probably a one. Online learning is not my thing. I struggled to pay attention in class and to understand everything.

3 stars. I did all my homework this week. I think I could’ve been more productive but I at least completed all my assignments.
I’d rate myself 3 stars because I got all of my homework done, but I could’ve been more efficient about my time which is something I need to work on.
