CHEMISTRY: Great job learning to name binary ionic compounds and write formulas!
Speaking of formulas, have you started on the polyatomic ions?!? What is your plan for all the memorization in this chapter? Word of warning – don’t wait to the last minute!!
Super important – the secret for the next few days and this entire chapter is DON’T GET BEHIND! Keep up with me and practice, practice, practice!
I would rate myself a 4 out of 5 stars on the chemistry chapter one test. I think that I did a really good job studying and would want to repeat the way I studied as well as the length of time that I spent studying. The only thing that I would do different is focus more on taking my time and thinking through the questions to prevent careless mistakes while taking the test.
i would give myself a 3/5 stars on the first chemistry test. i think i did my beat but i need to improve the way i study. i need to start studying way before hand and take better notes
I would rate myself a 2/5 stars on the first Chemistry test. I know I can do better than what I made. I just need to change the way I studied, take better notes and listen to the podcasts to see if I miss any notes that were important.
I would give my first chemistry test a 2/5 because I studied the right amount. However, I need to figure out how to study better for the application questions. To make a better grade.
I would rate myself a 2/5 stars on the first test. I studied a lot but I didn’t study long enough. Something I did well on was the memorization part of the test and the elements. Something I will do different is study a lot earlier in the week and practice more application problems
I rate myself a 2 out of 5. I studied hard, but after reviewing my test I realized I’m studying in an inefficient way. I think flashcards could help me for my next tests.
I would give myself a 3/5 stars for the recent chemistry test because I missed too many questions that were straight from my notes. I also could have studied for efficiently and a longer period of time. I will improve this problem by focusing and producing more study tools.
The chapter one test, I would rate my self a 3/5. What I could have done better was study more application examples instead of memorization. The thing I will do differently is take notes on application and not just definition.
The chapter one test, I would rate my self a 3/5. What I struggled on the test was not knowing how to apply what I memorized. The thing I will do differently is take notes on application and not just definition.
On the chapter one test I’d give myself a 3 out of 5. This is because I made a decent grade but I need to give more time to study
I would rate myself 3 stars on the chapter one test. I think that i could’ve done better and tried harder, but I am still happy with my grade.
I would rate myself a 2/5 on the test. I could’ve done better with going over lessons when I had time during state. I could have just started studying earlier too.
For the chapter one test I would rate myself 3/5 stars. I know I could do better, and my study methods were good, but I think my problem was that I didn’t give myself enough study time. In the future I will give myself plenty of time to study and prepare for the test/quiz.
For Ch. 1, I would give myself 4/5 stars. This is mostly because of how I did overall on the test. One thing I did well was studying our assigned elements and their symbols. For the test overall, I could improve my studying methods a lot. My studying methods are something I will attempt to change, mostly by when I start to study on my own and how.
I rate myself a 2/5 on the Chapter 1 test. I didn’t properly study the information I looked over which reflected on the test. To do better, I can write more application notes instead of just definitions on the board. To add onto that, I can start studying earlier instead of cramming it all in two nights.
I would give myself a 2/5 for this test. I think I studied the right amount of time but I really didn’t focus on my weaknesses and I focused on everything overall.
I would give myself a 2/5 for this test. I didnt study as good as i know i should have. I had bad studying techniques and that reflected in my grade. I studied more memorazation then application and i know now to not only know it, but apply it. Instead of putting studying into one night, i could study 2-3 days before to help me understand the topic more.
I would give myself a 2/5. I think i did a lot of just reading my notes and thinking through it and i should do more application practice. And maybe write out my notes and draw the diagrams out for the next test.
I would rate myself for the week a 2/5. I definitely could have studied way more for the test. My study methods were not the best, and my grade reflected that. I should have taken more time to look over my notes and other things.
i would rate myself a 2/5 because i know i could have studied and prepared myself better for the test. to fix this on the next test. i will make sure to not only memorize but to also know how to apply the information. i will try new things until i start to see progress
This week, I have struggled with learning the polyatomic ions and how to name the chemical formulas. To help my struggle, I have studied for my quiz and I feel good about it. I also have practiced naming chemical formulas and I feel much more prepared than I did when we first learned it
I have been struggling to keep myself organized and stay on top of studying for chemistry . To aid this issue I am trying to start using a planner and set time aside for chemistry. I will also try to stop procrastinating so I can designate more time to chemistry.
This week I struggled with memorizing the formulas of the Polyatomic Ions. I had trouble with the numbers of the formulas. To solve this issue I wrote the formulas over and over to help remember them and used flashcards. I also came up with different sayings to help remember the numbers. Now I know the formulas much more than I did before I wrote them many times.
I struggled with rushing through my assignments and not taking my time to get them done. I can improve this by making sure to take my time and read over my assignments thoroughly before turning them in. I can also do my work more in advance to prevent this issue.
I struggled with memorization and not putting in enough time to study. I can put in more time to study and start studying ahead of time to overcome this issue. I also need to learn to apply my notes.
