PHYSICS: Great job today – and applying stuff from the last chapter no less!
Just go slow and easy, talk yourself through what you are doing and ask if the formulas you are using are legit. You’ll master it in no time flat. Watch out for squirrels throwing nuts!
After giving a group of monkeys a drug for diabetes, metformin, researchers have found that the drug slowed down the aging of the monkeys. The effects of the drug was shown through organs, tissues, and the abseses of chronic inflammation after the 40 month trial.
I would give myself a 4/5 stars for this week. I have stayed on top of all of my work and been able to successfully do most of our homework problems with ease! The ones I had questions about, we went over in class and I understood what I missed! I count this as a success, especially in comparison to the past few weeks. I have also managed my time very well and worked when necessary to keep up with all of my classes. The only thing I struggled with was motivation, but I am trying my best to finish strong this week!
I would give myself 4/5 stars for this week. I have been successful in working out most of the homework problems, and the ones I had questions about we went over in class and I understood what I missed. This has been a success for me, especially compared to previous homework assignments. I have also been able to manage my time very well and work ahead when necessary in order to get ahead in all of my classes. The only thing I have struggled with is motivation, but I am trying my best to finish strong this week!
This week, I struggled with understanding all the concepts we’ve learned while not mixing them up. It became increasingly difficult when I was working on The Physics Classroom assignments, and I had to get everything straight without missing questions. This caused me to spend a lot more time on them than I planned. I plan to spend a lot of time studying this weekend to increase my understanding on these concepts in preparation for our test next week. Hopefully, by putting in lots of work, I will be able to get my desired test score, and have my average in a good place before the end of the nine weeks.
I rate myself 3/5 stars for this week. Our physics test on Friday got moved back to Monday. Just because I have a few extra nights of studying does not mean I should not start studying now. I have overall done a decent job on this. I started studying for the test last weekend. It is important that I give myself several days to prepare so I can truly know the information of vectors. The calculations are so far semi easy, but I sometimes have trouble setting up the problem. I deducted 2 stars because I feel like I can use my time better. I often end up doing nothing in my study hall. This makes me have to stay up later than I should. In order to get my rating up, I should stop procrastinating and get my work done earlier.
For this week, I rate myself a 3/5 stars. Our physics test got moved from Friday to next Monday. Just because I have a few extra nights to study does not mean I should wait. It is important that I start studying several day in advance. I gave myself 3 stars because I have been doing a good job of this so far. I started studying last weekend. I have deepened my understanding of vectors, but I sometimes have trouble setting up some of the problems. I deducted 2 stars because I do not use my time wisely. I often find myself doing nothing in study hall. This causes me to stay up late every night. I can fix this by cutting out my procrastinating and start my work earlier in the day.
If I had to rate myself out of five this week, I would give myself four out of five stars. This is not simply because I handled the problems well and understood the concepts, but when I did not I pushed through and took the time to understand what the problem truly was asking, then I found it using what the problem gave. Additionally, I stayed on top of my homework in this class and my lab reports, while still taking care of my responsibilities outside of class. Hopefully, I can keep this same attitude and spirit up to finish the nine weeks well.
This week, I would rate myself four out of five stars. I handled the problems well and the concepts I spent time to understand, so that the problems would make sense not just mathematically but also practically. However, measuring the angles with protractors and rulers still presents a minor Challenge. Hopefully I can conquer this skill and finish the nine weeks well.
This week, I’m struggling with massive procrastination. I got so much to do, and so little time, a math test, physics test, physics labs, two books to read, and flight school to still get through. So, because i have so much to do, I have been just doing nothing. This weekend, I will stop procrastinating and actually sit down and do as much work as I can get done, so as not to fall behind in my work.
This week it has been a struggle for me to gradually understand what we are doing in class. With all the other school, and stress going on in my life right now, it’s been a struggle to really have a good understanding of how to work the problems. This was evident to me through missing the homework problems and battling The Physics classroom for way too long. In order to fix this I’m going to make sure I put aside enough time to where I will be able to get a good grasp on the problems and chapter as a whole. This will be crucial with the test coming up next week.
Not gon lie I would rate myself a 2.5/5 stars this week. I have struggled greatly with some of the concepts and problems we have done and, in my opinion, I haven’t put in the effort to improve on these. I am far from having the proficiency I would hope to have this close to a test. I will need to push extra hard this weekend to have a successful test day. Next week I will need to be focused and diligent from Monday to Thursday to finish the term out strong.
This week, I would rate myself a 3/5. For the most part, I understood the concepts and how to work the problems that we did. Since I understood, though, I assumed that the homework would go faster than it did and procrastinated doing it until late at night. This led me to lose sleep, so I was very tired the majority of the week. Overall, even though I was tired, it was a good week.
I would rate this week a 3/5. For the most part, I understood the concepts and problems that we worked. However, since I understood the problems, I thought the homework would go faster than it did, so I procrastinated doing it until late at night. This led me to lose sleep, so I was really tired. Overall, though, this week was good.

This week I struggled to stay disciplined when presented with difficult problems. This meant that I struggled to not give up. I will make myself push through the struggles so that I can continue to progress my skills.
This week I rate myself a 3/5 stars because understanding the conceptual parts of angular, horizontal, vertical, and relative motion have been difficult. The mathematical aspect of vectors has been an easier topic to grasp compared to the conceptual parts, but I know that if I work hard to work out problems I do not understand and also work through conceptual problems I’m having a hard time grasping… I will eventually reach the goal I have set for myself to achieve because everything is perfected with practice. Perfection is never achieved through practice, but it does get us a little bit closer to it.
