HON CHEMISTRY: Isn’t this a super cool picture of light? So tell me again, if we’re supposed to be figuring out electrons, why are we studying waves?
I’m thinking you’ve probably memorized the electromagnetic spectrum after that inspirational song; however, also sure you also know the uses of the different types (all except for long waves). Just in case you’d like to hear it again: Electromagnetic Spectrum Song
How’d you like the light problems so far? Let’s play with light tomorrow!
I would rate myself 4 out of 5 stars for being able to make up all of the work I missed on Monday. From home, I was able to listen to the Vodcast and take good notes so I could understand the subject more. I also was able to complete the homework well and even read over the lab we did the next day. I am proud that even though I could not be at school physically, I was able to makeup what I missed and still do all of my work efficiently.
Rate: 3.5/5
Reflection: I think that in some ways I have really grown this term and have gotten better with staying on task– however, sometimes I do slack and really need to fix that one problem! Over all I think it was a pretty okay term!
I would rate this term a 4/5 stars. In my opinion, this term felt way shorter than the past two. This may be because of all the holidays and the giant snow week we had. I felt very on top of my work this quarter and I am very proud of my grades. I thought this semester would be the hardest yet, but I feel like last semester was more difficult. I still am working to improve my study habits, but they have improved significantly since the beginning of the year. I hope to keep growing and improving so I can finish out the year on a good note.
This semester I would rate myself a 3/5. I did really well doing all of my homework and turning in all assignments on time instead of procrastinating them. I should have done better by paying more attention in class and that would’ve helped me bring my overall grade up.
I rate this third term a 5 because there was some bad and good things about it. Some bad things was that I waited to the last minute to do a lot of my homework and I didn’t manage my time. Some good things is I made some pretty good grades in chemistry this term and I learned more and more about how to study for chemistry properly.
I would rate myself a 4/5 stars this quarter. I have done really well with keeping up with my work and understanding the concepts really well. Though I have had some trouble with showing work in my problems to get full credit for it. Overall this quarter has been good, and I have really enjoyed learning about the concepts we have covered.
I would rate myself a 2 this term. I didn’t;t do bad but I also think I didn’t do as well as I think I could have. I have struggled this term and I know that I have to learn how to work on the things I am struggling with but i also have to keep reviewing the things I do understand.
This semester I would rate myself a 3.5/5. This semester started out rough, but as I progressed I learned from my mistakes. The reason i gave myself a 3.5 is because I got sloppy with my units and robbed myself of points on tests. Hopefully next term I can remember units to get my star.
This quarter I would rate myself a 3/5. I did better with keeping up with work but didn’t set aside enough time to study for my tests. This quarter my test grades were not up to par with what I wanted to achieve. Going forward I want to force myself to actually set a timer and sit there and study instead of random sporadic times throughout the week.
This quarter, I would rate myself a 3/5. I was able to withstand a very tough quarter and complete all of my assignments while maintaining a good grade. The tests were very hard, but I was able to prepare for them and perform well and each one. However, I would like to do better next quarter and work on my ability to apply my knowledge.
This term I rate myself a 2/5. It was definitely my worst term so far. I didn’t do the best on the labs and didn’t always pay good attention during notes. We did learn different types of things like nuclear chemistry this term which I struggled with. I now know what I need to do to have a good 4th term and I hope I could get an a on a test next term and end with an A next term.
I would rate this term a 4 out of 5. I made a higher grade in the 3rd quarter and really improved on my test taking. Although, I didn’t get an A; I got really close and my understanding of concepts and applications skyrocketed.
I would give myself a 2/5 for this term. I had a rough time learning the information from this quarter and in turn got some below par grades. Next term I hope to do better in my studying so that I will be able to get some better grades.
This term i rate myself a 3/5 I struggled on the test but I have exceeded on my homework
My goal for the fourth semester is to attack the chemistry project head on and to not push it off. I hope to do this by managing my time well and making personal checkpoints for myself so I am always able to stay on track.

My goal for the fourth quarter is to finish out the year strong. Sometimes I tend to let my grades hang where they are in the fourth quarter because it’s the end of the year. However, this year I want to strive to get my grades even higher in this last quarter. Instead of settling for a decent grade, I want to try to end with the highest grades as possible. This means staying on top of work and properly preparing for tests/quizzes. I hope to do the best I possibly can in this quarter, but to also try and have fun.
