Scientists have found new evidence that dry pet food is more environmentally friendly than wet pet food. Through research, they found that wet pet food emits more greenhouse gases than dry pet food. They also discovered that wet food production takes up more land and water.

Diving birds are more likely to go extinct based off their diet. As diving birds, such as penguins, feed, their diet becomes more sophisticated and this limits their options to a smaller amount of food.
