Chemistry 12-5-22 Chapter 7 Parts 1 & 2 Test Overview

CHEMISTRY: Rain today, so we switched lab and test overview. God bless you as you study! Here’s our great overview of the test and practice from today. Also, did you find the Chapter 7, Pt 1 & 2 Stuff to Know sheet? Use it as a road map for your studying, but make sure you watch the vodcast to know how I will ask questions on the test. I know it seems like a lot, but you can do it!

Don’t forget the Ch 7 Parts 1 & 2 Online Review on Canvas. It has some great practice for the test!!

First priority – make sure that you have memorized EVERYTHING. Then, practice!!! Go to sciencegeek.net and make sure you can write and name chemical formulas. Practice, practice, practice!!! Then start practicing the different kinds of problems – do at least three of each one of them. And also try those on sciencegeek.net. That’s always some good practice.

I’ll be praying for you! You can do it!!

  1. I would rate myself 2.5 stars on this semester. While I still maintained a decent average for the class, I would have liked to do better on labs and not forget that homework assignment I did! I would also like to have been better prepared for class each day.

  2. I would rate myself a 3. I struggled a little bit on test but in the end, it helped me learn a more efficient way to study. I have done well at turning in my assignments on time so hopefully I continue with that.

  3. I would rate myself a 3. In the beginning I didn’t have great study habits, and I usually wasn’t prepared for labs. Now I have worked on it and am prepared for class and tests.

  4. I would rate myself a 2 this semester because I struggled with studying efficiently and being prepared. I was sick for two weeks in a row but that shouldn’t be an excuse to have failed a quiz. I slacked in my grades this end of the semester but I have realized I need to lock in and end the distractions that aren’t chemistry. I will make an A on this last test and the exam!

  5. I would rate my self 2 stars this semester I have been a little lazy on some stuff. I have forgot about the web post twice and I haven’t had the best test grades. Waited to late to do stuff and rushed last minute

  6. I would rate myself a 3 this semester. At the beginning of the semester I had a problem with procrastination and waiting til the last night to study but I feel as if I have improved a ton so that’s why I gave myself a 3. I want to continue to stay on top of my work and not procrastinate.

  7. I would rate myself a 3 this semester because I kept up with all of my labs and tests, but I feel like I could of studied more and focused more in class. Next semester I am going to do my best to study ahead and keep up with homework.

  8. I would rate myself a 2.3, even though I got the grade that I was aiming for, the way I got it was very lazy and sluggish, and sometimes I won’t even know what is happening in the class. So in the next semester I want to get rid of all those laziness and be more attentive, and locked-in in class.

  9. I would rate myself a 3 this semester because there were many times I did very well on tests or quizzes, and other times I didn’t do so good. It’s because sometimes I decided to study really hard for a test and I’ll get an A, then sometimes I barely study at all and will get a C or worse. I plan to fix this next semester by preparing well for every test by studying a few nights in advance instead of waiting until the night before and studying more overall.

  10. I would rate myself 2.5 stars this semester. I studied more and was more on top of my work during Term 1. My grade has dropped a bit during Term 2, and I have forgotten my web post twice. While my current average isn’t horrible, it is not as good as it was in Term 1.

  11. i would give myself a 3.5 out of 5. i give myself this rating because i have have tried to be on top of all of my chemistry work but sometimes i’ve forgotten to turn in some of my homework. there are somethings that i struggled on but i understood most of it.

  12. I would rate myself 3/5 stars this semester because there were some things that we did that I struggled on but there were also some things that I was good at. I did well on a few test and quizzes this semester but I also did bad on some of them. I did very well on keeping up with doing homework, web posts, and labs. I also feel like I could have studied more efficiently and started studying sooner for some of the tests. Next semester I plan to start studying sooner for test and quizzes and not procrastinate.

  13. This semester I would rate myself a 3 out of 5 because I struggled to study far enough in advance. I also didn’t do well on the quizzes and tests we had, but I plan to do better next semester. I am glad that I was able to not miss any homework or any web posts, so I would like to keep that going next semester.

  14. I would rate myself a 4/5 for this first semester. Going into this year I was told how difficult chemistry would be, but I have learned that if you focus and ask questions the class is very understandable. I am for the most part proud of my grade so far this semester.

  15. I rate myself a 4 this semester. This semester in chemistry has gone a lot better than I assumed it would. Even thought i have not the grades on test that I would have liked to made, I have still maintained a grade that I am satisfied with. Overall this semester was pretty good for me.

  16. I rate myself a 3 overall this semester. This is because i’ve tried to stay on top of all my work but sometimes i’m just too tired or i don’t want to do it so i wait until the last minute to do it. It also took me a while to understand how to turn things in and study for tests. I would say i have gotten better at those two things so far this year.

  17. I would rate myself a 3 this semester because I feel like I have understood everything we have learned besides some little things. If I didn’t understand something I figured out how to understand it and learn it. When studying for tests I feel like I understood everything pretty well, but I feel like I could improve my studying by adding new methods to help me.

  18. I would rate myself a 4 out of 5 this semester, because even while I made some poor grades here and there, I never gave up and did better the more I tried throughout this semester. However, I could’ve tried more so that’s a reason why I would not rate myself a 5 out of 5.

  19. I would rate myself a 1 this semester. I didn’t try hard enough and the grades show that. When I did start trying to get back on track it was to late.

  20. I rate myself a 2 this semester because I have not tried as much as I should have and have made many poor grades but I have learned a lot so far and I hope I do well on my exam

  21. I rate myself a 7/10 on time management. I have almost always taken the I have free, on a busy day, to study or work on the exam review packet.

  22. I would rate myself 2 stars because this semester I have been lazy and didn’t try as hard as the first semester and made some bad grades
