Physics 10-1-21 Angular Projectile Motion

PHYSICS – So we are finally putting it all together – angular projectile motion! Here’s the lesson – some homework discussion and then angular projectile motion.

The number one thing to remember – Never use the resultant velocity to do more than find the vertical and horizontal components! And vertical is vertical, horizontal is horizontal and don’t ever mix the two!

Spoiler alert: I couldn’t stand leaving the monkey-hunter problem hanging, so I went ahead and finished it for you.

  1. Struggle- my struggle this week was learning the conceptual process. The projectile motion was easy, but the trajectory was confusing. Especially since the book is very vague in what they’re asking for in hw.

  2. SITN
My science in the news article this week was based on research done on squirrels. In the experiments, the researchers discovered the ways in which squirrels make decisions and learned more about why they make the decisions they do. They also found information to suggest that squirrels can learn from their mistakes so that they can perform with better results when they make similar choices in the future.

  3. Triumph- I was able to triumph through my test due to the fact that I had a good attitude and prepared beforehand.

  4. R – Rate

This week I would rate myself a 3/5. I was able to understand a good number of the problems. However, it was a struggle to find the time and motivation to do my work.

  5. This week I woukd rate myself a 2.5/5. As the week progressed I found myself getting more and more overwhelmed with class work and everything and I began losing track of what needs to get done. I hope this weekend I can get everything sorted out and completed.
