Chemistry 3-26-21 Intro to Atomic Theory

CHEMISTRY: So how do you feel about being made from earth, air, water, and fire? Here’s the intro we did on how we ended up with the atomic theory. Had you ever heard of Lavosier, Proust, and Dalton?

Pretty impressive little theory that Dalton came up with, huh? Let’s continue comparing it with the Modern Atomic Theory on Monday.

Speaking of impressive – a penny turning to gold – wow!! 🙂

  1. My goal for this nine weeks is to do my best whatever that may be. I will give myself enough time to study for tests/quizzes. I will think deeper when writing my lab reports. I won’t procrastinate on homework or the project.

  2. My goal for this nine weeks is to eat the burger that George is currently eating. I will stop at nothing to acquire that beautiful burger. Nothing will stop me. I will get that burger at all cost.

    My ACTUAL goal for this nine weeks is to continue bringing my grades up. They were mediocre at first, but recently they have been getting better. I want to continue this trend until the year ends. I will do this by committing to doing my homework more often and studying more frequently.

  3. My goal is to finish with an a average. I will do this by studying like I did last semester and will work harder on my lab Wright ups.

  4. My goal for this last semester is to stay motivated and organized. To accomplish this, I’m going to try my best to stay on top of my work and finish early if I can. I will also try to organize my notes better and make sure I’m understanding the lesson.

  5. My goal is to improve my time management. I end up going to bed way too late and if I would just work earlier in the afternoon, I could actually get some sleep for once. I will try to work faster and more efficiently.

  6. My goal for this nine weeks is to improve my study skills. Although I do very good on the tests, I believe I could do better and therefore will try to study more than I am. I also want to really work on the project and make it the best.

  7. My goal this nine weeks is to improve my test scores. I make good grades on everything else except for the test. In conclusion if I fix my test grades my grade will be higher. I will do this by finding a way to study.

  8. My goal this nine weeks is to not forget to do any homework. I will accomplish this goal by setting reminds in my phone so i won’t forget to do them.

  9. My goal this Nine weeks is definitely time management. With this project coming up and it being super long, I need to get a head start on it early so I will be able to finish it. Also with that I will be able to keep on top of my tests and homework as well.

  10. My goal for this nine weeks is to improve my study skills, test scores, and time management. I think accomplishing these things would help my overall average and help me understand lessons better. I will do this by preparing for assignments, studying sooner for tests and finding new ways to study

  11. My goal for this semester is to have a better grade in the class and to complete all of my assignments. I will meet this goal by staying organized and managing my time.

  12. My goal for this nine weeks is to do good on my project and work the hardest I can. I will study hard and stay on top of my work.

    semester strong. I will meet this goal by studying to the best of my ability and not procrastinate.

  14. My goal for this semester is to prepare better for my test and spend my time on my homework especially when i don’t understand it. I’ll meet this goal by saving extra time to go back and watch the previous lessons and learning what i’m doing wrong and fixing it.

  15. My goal this nine weeks is to finish with an A. I plan to do this by staying on top of my project and not wait till the last minute and by studying harder and through new ways to help improve my grade.

  16. My goal for this nine weeks is to make sure I get my work done and also make sure I do good on my project to bring my grade up as much as possible.

  17. My goal for this 9 weeks is to not procrastinate and start assignments ahead of time instead of last minute. Also to start studying for tests a few days in advance and not the night before. I’ll do this by starting everything ahead of time.

  18. My goal for this 9 weeks is to not get distracted while I’m working on homework or the project. To achieve this, I will put my phone on do not disturb and remove any distractions from the room.

  19. my goal for this nine weeks is to stay on top of my work and to not procrastinate my assignments, also I would like to do good on my project. I will accomplish this by doing something everyday no matter what so I will not get behind and so It will be easier to get things done in a timely manner.

  20. My goal for this nine weeks is to study for an A for my tests because how I usually study would only get me a B and is lazy. So this nine weeks I plan to write down and recite out loud more often and sooner in advance.

  21. My goal for this nine weeks is to maintain my grade and finish with a high A. I will accomplish this by studying harder and longer and finding new ways to help myself remember the material. Studying further in advance in small ways will help me recall the information later.

  22. My goal is to get my grade up to something I am satisfied with. I am bad at time management so I usually end up procrastinating until the last minute. I will fix this by studying and trying my hardest.

  23. My goal for 4th term is to make an A as my average and I will do that by studying harder and not procrastinating

  24. My goal is to get an A for the nine weeks. The last nine weeks I haven’t prepared the right way for the tests and this time I will study the right way.

  25. My goal is to get an A in the fourth quarter. I will do this by staying on top of my assignments and studying harder for tests.
