Physics 3-9-21 Overview of Chapter 8

PHYSICS: Great review today! Here’s a last look at some of the concepts and problems from chapter 8.

By the way, if you’re interested, after you left, I did a bit more work with #33 after you left. Just some ideas for thought.

  1. This week, I rate myself a 4/5. I wrote up both my labs last weekend because I knew I would be very busy at the beginning of this week. I only have to fix a few things and complete a few parts before I turn them in. I thought I knew the concepts of the test better than I did so the multiple choice was a struggle, but I think the problems and the discussion were good. I’m very glad we didn’t have written homework this week. I also already did my extra credit so I don’t have to do any more Science in the News!

  2. This week I rate myself a 3/5. I completed my labs during the snow week, so I did not have to worry about getting those done throughout the week which was good. I thought I understood the problems for this chapter, but I struggled with the problems on the test. Although I studied the concepts a lot, there were some questions that I still didn’t understand. In order to overcome this problem, I plan to study and work on more problems in advance before the next test. Also, I completed my extra credit Science in the News over the weekend, so I didn’t have to stress about getting that finished through the week too. This week has been very stressful and hard, but I am very grateful for a week off next week.

  3. I rate myself a 3/5 for this week. I got started on my labs early in the week so I just had to do some final touch ups and calculation scans. The discussion questions on the test went pretty well I think, and i feel okay about the multiple choice. The problems on the other hand are a whole other story, I know i did the first problem right but besides that, the problems were a doozy. All in all, this week has been very stressful and I could not be more excited for spring break. 🙂

  4. I rate myself a 2/5 this week. I have been extremely busy and extremely exhausted, so getting through school has been a struggle. I did not do very well on the test, but considering everything I had going on prior to the test, I know that I did the best that I could, so I am not upset about it. I am very thankful that it is finally spring break, so hopefully I can recharge and come back to school rested and ready to learn!

  5. This week I gotta rate myself a 2/5. My test performance was definitely not my best. I should have studied Bernoulli’s formula a bit better so I would know to actually use it. There is bright side. I (and three other unnamed indivividuals) caused a power surge during the lab. Hilarious.

  6. This week I rate myself a 4/5. I had a lot of fun with the applications of physics this week and the human density lab. It was a good start to the last quarter. I have enjoyed not rushing into another chapter as soon as we got back from break. This week has been relaxing, and I haven’t been stressing out as much as usual. I am ready to start some notes again, but it has been fun to do hands-on activities. Overall, this week has been good, and I am excited for the last weeks of high school.

  7. I rate myself a 3/5 this week. Missing Monday caused me to be a little confused on Tuesday, but once I figured out what we were doing, I was all good! I really enjoyed finally getting to do the human density lab, and I was very grateful that we didn’t jump right into a new chapter the day we got back from spring break! Even though we just came back from spring break, I am still very tired, so I am definitely looking forward to the weekend so I can rest and get ready to learn more next week!

  8. This week I would rate myself a 4.5/5. I did really well on physics things, and I loved the human density lab. I only had a 3 day week this week because today is Mississippi indoor association finals 🙂 I hope next week is amazing, and I hope I can finish this term (and my high school career) strong.

  9. i rate this week a 4/5. Like the others said, not jumping straight into another chapter as soon as we go back was really nice. The rube-goldberg project seems like it will be fun even though it will be time consuming. The human density lab was as fun as it was cold and i’m glad we were finally able to do it 🙂
