Hon Chemistry 1-25-21 Stoichiometry

HON CHEMISTRY: Great job with reaction stoichiometry today! Were you able to apply what you remembered about moles from earlier this year? Don’t forget the keys! Now all you need is some practice and you’ll have it down pat!!

  1. I rate specifically my planning this week, 4 stars. For this chapter, I have decided to go the extra mile, I made a daily checklist system to properly prepare and study for chapter 9. The system includes creating several self-study guides, properly annotating the chapter, and reviewing practice problems. This system will hopefully allow me to flourish in gaining knowledge and preparation for the test. There is always room for improvement, so I only gave myself 4 stars. My planning system should keep me organized and on track.

  2. I would rate myself 4/5 stars on the stoichiometry problems. While I was doing the book work, I was able to work confidently on the problems and I only looked back at my notes once or twice. I would build my road map for each problem before plugging in the numbers to the Q formula. Once I began to plug in the numbers if I had made a mistake in my road map I was able to identify my mistake and fix it. I am thankful that we learned a majority of the rules for the stoichiometry problems earlier in the year so that I am able to work confidently on them now. I gave myself 4/5 stars because there is still room for me to grow.

  3. I would rate myself 4/5 I know what I’m doing for the stoichiometry and I had all mine work shown and have the correct answers to the problems but I had not been as prepared as I needed to be for this week, and I been procrastinating on homework this week also.

  4. for this week i would rate myself as 4 out of 5 stars because i have a good understanding of stoichiometry and the problems, but i did struggle at the beginning. i realized it helps to me map out the q-formula first and then insert all the numbers while checking my work after finding the answer. i didn’t give myself the final star because I have some extra work to do, but i have done pretty good with staying on top to things and understanding topics this week.
