  1. This week I would rate myself a 4/5. I was able to make a final push toward studying for my last test of the year. As a result, I did great on my physics test. Additionally, I have put some effort into planning for my part of the physics project. However, I can feel the lazy part of me trying to taker me over and procrastinate the rest of the project. I need to push forward because there is only one week of high school left!

  2. This week I would rate myself a 4/5. I think I studied for the test decently as far as only having access to online learning materials goes. I mean I finished it in 90 minutes, and I had be so stressed about it! I’m a little excited and a whole lot already annoyed with the project. There’s going to be so many frustrating do-overs. Hopefully, all those years of frustration with golf swings will play into my patience and sanity. Anyways, i’m so excited our last “school” day is coming up! Is this our second to last webpost??!!

  3. This week was a 3/5. I can see the finish line, but it can’t come fast enough. I haven’t wrapped my head around the end of high school, but it definitely feels like the end of a school year. I’ve mapped out my tentative plans for the project, but I need to start the frustrating trials.

  4. This week I would rate myself a 3/5. I feel like I’m limping to the finish line. I have no source of motivation to do any work. It is really bad. I need to make my machine so I just have to push through.

  5. This week I rate myself a 3/5. I have been losing motivation for doing school work this week. I have a lot of English work to do that I have been procrastinating. I did well on the physics test which I am happy about. I finished my machine rather quickly and easily because I didn’t let myself get distracted, but that used up the last bit of my motivation. I am going to have to work really hard to do what I need to do this week without losing motivation. I am going to try to finish strong.

  6. I give myself a 4/5 this week. I feel like I was adequately prepared for the test and I feel pretty good about how I did on it too. I finished my Rube Goldberg machine project at only 3 in the afternoon! It took the entire year, but I finally finished a Physics project at a very reasonable time instead of late at night. This class has taught me a lot about myself and that I am capable of much more than I think. I don’t know if this is the last webpost comment or not, but I believe I will continue to use the critical thinking skills I learned in this class and take the memories of it with me forever. 🙂

  7. This week is a 5/5 for me because its the last week of work. It is bitter sweet and I will miss everyone in this class. Thanks for everything Ms. Skinner and Ms. Jackie. Y’all are goats

  8. I have to say. I’m very consistent. In that I will, to the end, be aWFUL AT PHYSICS WOO! Anyway yeah, I did awful on the test despite my best efforts, but the Rube Goldberg has been fun and I got it pretty easily so that’s great. I don’t regret taking this class at all, I didn’t expect to either (ok at some points maybe) and I’ll miss you guys. Goodbye :)!!

  9. This week has been stressful but good at the same time. Thank goodness that test was open note or Lord knows what might’ve happened to my grade. The Rube Goldberg machine was SUPER frustrating but I got it done….like 20 minutes ago. I’m glad I took this challenging class this year and I’d definitely give myself a 5/5 for finishing it strong despite the circumstances. I’ll miss this class so much!!

  10. Wow. What can I say. It feels like just yesterday, I was lowered in a garbage can full of water for the sake of science. We’ve made it to the very end now. I’m in shock of how fast it went by. This class was an absolute blast to be a part of. The memories of both excitement and trauma flood back to me as I type this. This course has been an absolutely incredible learning experience for me, and I’ve learned plenty of new skills from it. Time management, repetition, stress control… the list goes on. One major thing I learned is that sometimes – done is better than perfect. I’m taking all of these skills with me to college and applying them to life in general. Ms. Skinner – you really are an amazing teacher. You’re an amazing person in all aspects. The amount of care and love you have for each and every student is amazing. Thank you for everything these past few years. You’re truly unforgettable.

  11. I don’t think this went through so I’m resending it. Ugh this always happens to me. I really should copy these before I send them. But anyways, I rated myself a 3/5 for this past week. My test was not good and I’m not sure why because I studied and used my notes to my advantage. So I’m not sure what happened. The Rube Goldberg project was fun and very satisfying!!! But I am thankful it’s almost over!
