Physics 2-19-20 Archimedes’ Principle

PHYSICS: So when you were floating in the pool this summer, did you enjoy your fellowship with buoyant forces? 🙂 From Wednesday – Archimedes’ Principle.

Great topic for investigation! Speaking of which – what did you find? When the kid jumped out of the boat, did the water level rise, fall, or stay the same? Hmmmm…..

  1. This week I would rate myself a 4/5. This week was an interesting week. It felt very short and was not very challenging homework wise. However, this week was a battle with many of the things I had to do outside of school. It was also sort of hard for me to focus during class this week. At the same time, I pushed through and finished strong, therefore, I am still happy about this week. Sometimes, it’s a victory just to get through the week.

  2. This week was a 3/5. The whole buoyancy thing is still a little fuzzy to me, but I’m confident I’ll eventually understand it. The break yesterday was a welcome change. Almost forgot science in the news, but I didn’t. So, I guess this was an okay week.

  3. This week I rate myself a 3.5/5 again. It was a short week, which was very nice. I don’t have work anymore because I am starting tennis, so it is nice to be able to go home earlier and get homework done faster! However, I am still procrastinating on everything. The honors outing was definitely the highlight of my week, and was the most fun I’ve had in a long time! Thank you for that, Ms Skinner! Hopefully I’ll be able to get my labs written up soon, because I think they are due sometime in the next week or so? Buoyancy is alright if I can just focus enough to make sure I study the material and get it deep into my brain. And I really help this webpost goes through this time!

  4. This week has been actually mostly okay. I did (most of) my homework, and class has been more fun than stressful (still stressful!). I did have to take a day to not have a breakdown, but I feel like we’re still doin’ good. I’m really glad that I understand most of what’s going on, and that I enjoy the kind of math we’re doing now. I hope I can keep up with everything this time.

  5. This week I would rate myself a 4/5. I have done good with my homework. I have FINALLY taken the test, and I feel pretty decent about it. The honors outing was fun! I can and can’t wait for this weekend. I have a lot of schoolwork and preparation for the IBS mission trip. However, I am going to be able to relax a little bit! Senior year is not as easy as people say it is!!! It’s SUPER busy.

  6. So I was only in class once this week… I listened to vodcasts but still those don’t compare to the actual thing so I really don’t have much to say this week. The trampoline place was fun though.

  7. I rate myself a 4/5 this week. This wasn’t a very intense week but I still feel like I did well on the engineering challenge and the take home labs we did. I might fall behind not getting the full class experience on friday but I’m confident I can catch back up quickly.

  8. This week I rate myself a 3/5. I procrastinated many of my assignments this week. I still completed them, but procrastination causes much more stress than necessary. I enjoyed physics this week, buoyancy is pretty simple even though some of the conceptual problems seem a little weird. I enjoyed the relaxed day we had today, and I had fun at Urban air. I have a lot to do this weekend, and I hope I can get it all done.

  9. This week I would rate myself a 4/5. Despite, being in class for 2 days this week I had a blast doing our designer challenges with my homies Sammy and Harry. I also need to catch up on my homework yet again so hooray. I’ll be back Monday.

  10. I would rate myself a 4/5 this week. I am enjoying physics lately, and i was able to actually accomplish most of my tasks from other classes on a good schedule. Buoyancy is awesome for sure. Honors outing was GREAT, and the week was so short. I am still so tired though and am beginning to have headaches as a result. I need some z’s and still a better sleep plan this week. How about i must be in bed by 10:30. Thats my documented goal. Lets do this.

  11. This week was fun even though I was only in class for one day. Ashlyn and I successfully fixed our T bot and I can’t wait to use it during a lab! Now I need to watch the vodcast from Tuesday.

  12. This week seems to be a 4/5 for me. I’m doing much better with my stress levels and I’m feeling much better overall. We had a short week with very little material to cover, so it was pretty chill. Everything got turned in, so I’m pretty proud of that.
