Chemistry 12-6-19 Polymers

CHEMISTRY: We finally finished the chapter! Did you realize molecules could be that large? And so many of them. But don’t you think polymers are cool? Here’s the lecture for Tuesday.

Some items for contemplation: why are certain plastics recyclable and others not…and what about dishwasher and microwave safe? Hmmmmm…

  1. Rate and Reflect: I’d rate myself a 6/10. I definitely could’ve studied more and done practice problems, and I definitely should’ve done more extra credit.

  2. I would rate myself a 3.5 out of 5 this week. I studied really hard for the chemistry test and felt pretty good about it. I also did very well in the lab these past few days and I really understood it.

  3. This week I rate myself a 3/5. This week I didn’t do as good on a test as I would have liked to. I studied a good amount, but was a bit disappointed in myself. I don’t think that I put enough effort into practicing and applying what I know. I can do better next semester/term by studying in better ways.

  5. This week I rate myself at 2 out of 5. I did not do well preparing for this last test, because I failed to review notes and lessons on topics I was unsure about. I tried my best on the test, but I did not do my absolute best in preparation for it 🙁
However, I plan to change that now in studying for the exam and learn from this mistake!

  8. I would rate myself a 2/5 this week because I did very bad on the test. I tried really hard but it wasn’t enough to make a decent grade. I made some careless mistakes that made my grade go down so I’m going tot ty to make a good grade on the exam.

  12. I rate myself a 3.75 outta 5 this week. It wasn’t a four because I felt like I could’ve studied more on the test even though it was an okay grade. It also wasn’t a four this week because I procrastinated on getting my assignments done.

  19. I rate myself a 2 out of 5. I’ve done this because I thought I did very good studying for my test. I studied 8 hours watched 7 vodcasts took notes at home and in class make flash cards and a quizlet. You would think I’d give myself a 5 out of 5 but I only made one point higher on my test than the one I literally didn’t study for at all. So i’m very upset. At least I tried.

  25. Gage gets a fat 4/5, not because my grades are special, but because I actually have been trying to study and have successfully paid attention.

  26. I give myself a 1/5 this week because I felt I did not study well for my test and it reflected on my grade I plan on starting my study guide this weekend..

  36. I would rate myself a 2/5 for this week because I did not do as well on the test as I was hoping I did. I studied hard the previous week, but my test grade does not reflect that. I have already begun studying a lot for the exam though because I really need to do good on it.
