Physics 11-8-19 Net Vertical Force

PHYSICS: Great start with net vertical force! Don’t you think it’s the same as horizontal – just turned 90 degrees? And incredible demonstrations of some important concepts! Thank you Jackson & Matty, and thank you Danny! Awesome! I love, love, love watching you make physics come alive!

So….I started recording a little early and there’s probably about 10 minutes of Jackson and Matty and Danny jumping off the lab station, but then – vertical forces.

  1. Seems like I just can’t catch a break. This week was supposed to be an easy, short week, and I still managed to get stressed out. I guess it’s the application of the concepts we learn in class that’s getting to me; I’m not great at remembering what things go where and when unless I have my stuff beside me, and I always seem to be leaving out key parts of the problems unless I’m working them with the rest of the class… If at first you don’t succeed, try try again… and again… and again… >.< I feel like I'm rushing through my work without being able to catch up to where I need to be, like when you're running in a dream but never quite fast enough to get away from what's behind you. This weekend is going to be a rough one, and a jam-packed one too. RIP me I guess

  2. This week I rate myself a 4/5. I am actually understanding what is going on!! I’m really proud of myself for working hard on the problems and I’m so glad that my brain is working with me once again haha. However, I did procrastinate a lot this week. I will be on a church thing all weekend so pray I will make enough time to do my labs!!!

  3. I was thriving once I got my homework done. I was really tired though. I understand concepts too so I’m actually doing great.

  4. This week was a struggle for me. It seems like short weeks always end up being the most stressful. I’ve been pretty solid on all the problems we’ve done but we keep adding more and more situations to account for that I feel like I’m starting to slip behind. The test is approaching quickly and I need to get some review in this weekend.

  5. This week is a 3/5. I really get the concepts and understand the problems as we talk through them, but i’m having trouble applying the concepts on my own. I tend to get stuck in problems and don’t know what to do next. Ugh, maybe it will get better

  6. This week in physics is a 3/5. I’m capable of doing the problems, but not quite comfortable yet. I need practice with drawing out diagrams faster and doing the math faster too. Practice should help. Labs are do Monday so my weekend is pretty much non existent now. But Thanksgiving break is nearing. And so is our test.

  7. This week I would rate myself a 3/5. I got behind on the problems, and it might make things tough on me going forward to the test. I also had a very stressful two days getting stuck in the airport for missing my connecting flight. Hopefully, now that I have a decent amount of sleep, and I can focus on studying for the test next week.
