Chemistry 10-31-19 Coding a Human “Robot” & HW Update

CHEMISTRY: So what’s more important than knowing something? Being able to use it? Being able to effectively communicate it to somebody else? Did you begin to feel the important of that today?!?

Here are some homework updates/clarifications:

  • Common Subst. Research – Due date changed to Tuesday
  • LAB: Energy of Solutions due tomorrow (Friday), 8:00 A.M. – Save as PDF to your Google Drive & Turnitin
  • Sciencegeek.com practice for Friday HW – Do Practice 1 only. Due Tuesday

  1. This year, my goal for chemistry is to have an A in the class and make really good grades. My strategy to accomplish this is to stay on task, study, and do everything I’m supposed to when I’m supposed to.

  5. My goal for next week is to get an A on all of my assignments. My strategy is to focus and study my notes more and practice the material.

  6. My goal for the future in Chemistry is to be better prepared and make better grades on tests and quizzes. My strategy to complete this goal is to give more time to studying/learning the material.

  8. My goal for this semester in Chemistry is to finish with an A average and to understand what I’m being taught fully. I will achieve this goal by working hard, taking notes, and paying attention.

To do this, I’m going to improve my study habits, making sure to take thorough notes so I can use them as study material for later. I’m going to practice the material we learn in chemistry so I can better understand it for the test.

  10. My goal is to make a good grade on the polyatomic ions and understand them. I will accomplish this by studying everyday, taking organized notes, and by going back and re-watching the lessons.

  11. This year I hope to better my knowledge on the periodic table I plan to achieve this by reviewing the periodic table regularly.

  12. My goal for chemistry this year is to keep a solid average for my grades. To achieve this goal I will make my studying habits better and take more concise notes in class.

  13. My goal for chemistry this year is to learn how to handle lots of assignments and pressure. Sometimes I get stressed and fall behind. But I am going to break that habit this year.

  14. My goal for chemistry this year is to finish’s the year with my average being an A. To do this I will have to study a bit each night to learn the material and be able to apply it.

  15. My goal is be dynamic in how I handle all the assignments and study all my notes. I fall behind in studying and suffer consequences as of but my goal is too handle everything.

  16. My goal for the rest of the year is to keep a good grade in the class and to apply what I’ve learned in chemistry to other aspects of life. I will keep a good grade by studying hard, and I will apply my learning by taking my study methods that have worked well in chemistry to other subjects.

  17. My goal would be keeping the hard work coming because if I go back to being lazy and not wanting to work on anything, it will not get me to a better place than I started. Also, it will help to studying not the night before the test.

  18. My goal for this semester of chemistry is to do homework, I have a lot of struggle with that. My strategy for that is just putting reminders on my phone and doing it.

  19. My goal this semester in chemistry is to stay on track with material we’re learning so that I actually learn and remember everything, not just memorize it for a test. I will be most successful in this when I study information and applications all along the way, making it a priority, instead of all at once. I also hope my grade reflects that I’m really learning, but my main goal is to be able to apply skills and information long after learning it.

  20. Next week my goal is to keep my grades as good as they have been lately. My strategy would be to study more of my elements as well as their symbols.

  21. My goal this 9 weeks and for the rest of the year is to improve my work ethic. I feel that I would be doing way better in chemistry if I did all of my homework. My strategy to accomplish this is to find ways to hold myself accountable.

  22. My goal for chemistry is to have a good average in the class all year. My strategy to complete this goal is taking lots of notes everyday, preparing myself for all quizzes and tests, and not procrastinating on anything.

  23. This year my goal in chemistry is to have an A in this class. I would be more successful when I stop just memorizing for the rest and to start actually learning the material

  24. My goal for next week is to do better on assignments and do good on my polyatomic ions quiz. My strategy will be to set reminders for myself and study well.

  25. This week we shall talk about triumphs! My triumph for this week is that I get to re take my chemistry test! So that’s good.

  26. My Triumph this week is that I actually did good learning all the chemical formulas!! I am also getting better at writing all of them.
