In conclusion, since we still do not know all the effects yet and there are several accounts of health problems, we should not vape. What else can we do to make people aware of this?

  9. In the article “Lack of sleep is tied to increases in two Alzheimer’s proteins” it talks about how sleep deprivation can cause problems with our memory. Aimee Cunningham tells us of the studies that have been done regarding tau levels in those who have not gotten enough sleep and those who have not, and those who not have gotten enough sleep have an increase in tau levels, which leads to nerve damage, which can lead to memory loss.

  10. In the article “Lack of sleep is linked to increases in two Alzheimer’s proteins”, a study found that the levels of tau and A-beta (the two Alzheimer’s proteins) increased significantly when adults didn’t sleep for 36 hours. They even found out that the quality of sleep that people got affected the levels of tau and A-beta. These proteins are dangerous because they can clump up and tangle throughout the brain, causing Alzheimer’s. In conclusion, it is important for everyone to have a healthy sleeping schedule or at least get the right amount of sleep for our bodies.

  11. “Vaping may have sent 153 people to hospitals with severe lung injuries” by Aimee Cunningham in Science in the News is about: More and more teens are beginning to vape. In the article “Lack of sleep is Linked to Increases in Two Alzheimer’s Proteins” scientists discovered that people didn’t sleep enough had tau and A-beta( the two Alzheimer’s proteins)soaking their brain. Both of these are found on the brain of people with Alzheimer’s as well. Discovering this scientist theorized that lack of sleep can increase the chances of Alzheimer’s. Tau and A-Beta cause Alzheimer’s by clumping and getting tangled all throughout the brain. If not sleeping enough causes these two proteins to spread than it is clear as to why this is concerning.

  15. In the article “Lack of sleep is linked to increases in two Alzheimer’s proteins”, scientists discovered two Alzheimer’s proteins (tau and A-beta) is soaking the brain of humans that don’t get enough sleep. The two proteins cause Alzheimer’s by clumping up and getting tangled in the brain. From this scientists have theorized that not getting the correct amount of sleep can increase the possibility of Alzheimer’s. Scientists also discovered that the quality of sleep can also affect these proteins.
