  1. This week I rate myself a 4/5. This week had a multitude of fun activities that have fueled my excitement for the rest of this year in physics. I really enjoyed the car experiment and the ball drop experiment. These labs pull me out of my comfort zone and force me to think on my feet which I know will be an invaluable skill for the rest of my life. On the other hand, I completed my homework in a timely manner this week, and I feel that I have a decent grasp on velocity and speed at the moment. However, the counterintuitive nature of velocity can be tricky at times; therefore, I need to pay close attention to detail. Overall, this has been a good week, and I am really enjoying physics.

  2. This week I would rate myself a 3/5. I was stressed this week. I was continuously behind, and it was a constant battle to stay in the game. I’m not yet back in the mindset for school, so I really need to fix that in the coming weeks. However, this week was not a complete loss, because I still tried very hard during class. I paid attention and I worked well with my classmates. Next week will be better though!

  3. This week I would rate myself a 1/5. I did well on the homework, but every single other thing I attempted to do did not end well. I am struggling to understand the simplest concepts and it is stressing me out to no end. I hope next week will be better.

  4. This week I rate myself a 4 out of 5. I’m doing well understanding the labs and the concepts behind them. I’m also making sense of the homework problems. However, I don’t think I deserve a 5 because usually it takes a while and some trials to figure out each problem.

  5. This week was a struggle. I am enjoying the labs we do, but the problems are difficult for me to understand. I have been working hard to try and do one without help, but it’s tough. Hopefully the more i practice the easier they get! This weekend I’m going to watch the vodcasts and practice so many problems!!! Hopefully I will be able to comprehend them soon!

  6. This week has been a whole struggle. I’m okay on all the concepts when we’re taking notes, but I’m struggling to put them to practice with the problems. I’m redoing #10 & 11 from last night’s homework, and working some extra problems from the R pages to try to get into my brain better.

  7. This week was middle of the road for me. On one hand, I finished all my homework and did not have to stay up past 12 a.m. like I had to sometimes in chemistry. But on the other hand, I feel like I could have contributed more in the velocity labs we did. Next week I will definitely try to be more useful on our lab on monday.

  8. I would rate myself 5/5 for this week because I was hardly streased! I might have been confused, BUT I was not stessed, which is my number one goal for this year. Also, this is the first assignment someone had to remind me to do this week! Good and bad thing. Out of everything this week, school was my best game!

  9. This week I would rate myself a 4/5. I finished all of my hw in a timely manner. I also had a blast doing all of the labs we did this week. I thoroughly enjoyed Dan and Ashies dunking themselves in a trash can.

  11. This week in physics was a good one for me. So far I understand all of the concepts and I’m getting most of my homework questions right first try. The density lab was fun to make too. Things are starting to get a bit tricky though, especially some of the distance/displacement questions. Im working on finding ways to make them simpler. I should be alright though. Looking forward to next week!

  12. This week was a TRIUMPH! While not everything was perfect, I did better this week! I also had 4 days of golf games, so while the extracurricular stress increased, my grades did not suffer. That is the positive for the week. I am thankful God gives me the ability to become more responsible and that he blesses my time. I am praying that I get lots of sleep and have a less tough week next week!

  13. I’d say this week was sort of a struggle. Things really picked up and I got a little stressed. I probably should’ve started my lab sooner and worked more diligently. Hopefully next week I’ll get some more sleep and be able to stay more focused.
