Physics 2-9-18 Rotational Dynamics

PHYSICS – Wow! Could you do this? Here’s the lecture on rotational inertia, angular velocity, and angular momentum – rotational dynamics! By the way – I wonder how all this applies to other rotating things…like maybe the Earth? Hmmmmm……

  1. This week I would have to rate myself 3/5. I understood the universal law of gravitation and I really tried to study. I’ve had a lot to do these past couple weeks and I’m happy I could set aside some time to study for the test. I think I did better on this test than the last test. I didn’t really struggle with the multiple choice and I think I got the problems right. I think I did pretty good overall and hope to keep it up next week.

  2. This week in Physics, I would rate myself a 3/5 stars. I really enjoyed class this week–especially the lecture on rotational inertia. I liked being able to participate in demos that demonstrated the concepts because it helps me to remember and apply what we learn. Even though I feel more confident about the concepts on this test, I feel like I should have gone over more of the problems that we learned at the beginning of the chapter. This long weekend, I am going to work on finishing my labs–this nine weeks is going by fast!

  3. This week in physics I would rate myself a 3/5. We did several interactive activities to show concepts and it was very interesting and fun. It makes me look at things around me in more physics terms. It also helped me understand the concepts more for the test. I feel that I prepared for the test a lot better than usual concept wise and I felt like I understood the problems really well going into it, so I think that it transferred over to the test. I hope I understand this next chapter and finish this 9 weeks strong.

  4. I would rate myself a 3/5 this week for physics. I enjoyed our demos because they helped me understand the concepts we learned but I don’t think I did very well on the test. I got confused on the multiple choice and completely screwed up the last problem. I wish I would’ve looked more into the concepts because I think that is what killed me.

  5. This week was an interesting week in Physics. We had a test over the material we have been covering and I didn’t do too hot, mostly because how busy I became this week. I did well on the discussion questions but not too good on the multiple choice again. Next test I will be sure to do better on! I’ll have to make sure I get all my labs written up in time for the due date!

  6. This week in physics I would rate myself a 3/5. A struggle for the week would be the test because I don’t think I did as well on it as I should of. Another one would be trying to figure out the conceptual stuff. A triumph of the week would be understanding the problems and how to work them.

  7. This week I would rate myself a three out of five. It was definitely a struggle. At the beginning of the week I was having trouble grasping some of the conceptual problems involving circular motion. I also do not feel like I prepared well enough for the test. I am hoping that I do better on this next chapter.
