Chemistry 11-21-13 Chapter 7 Test Overview

CHEMISTRY: It’s been a crazy week, huh? God bless you as you study for the test! Here’s the overview we did today. Also, did you find the Chapter 7 Stuff to Know sheet on Edline? Click here on the name, if you need one. I know it seems like a lot, but you can do it! (Remember that you don’t have to know diatomic molecules.)

First priority – make sure that you have memorized EVERYTHING. Then, go to sciencegeek.net and make sure you can write and name chemical formulas. Practice, practice, practice!!! Then start practicing the different kinds of problems – do at least three of each one of them. And also try those on sciencegeek.net. That’s always some good practice. I’ll be praying for you! You can do it!!

      • John – Also, did you get my reply about extra credit? The topic is STEM and you can turn it in any time during the nine-weeks. I’ll post the final due date toward the end of the term.

  1. Polymers are actually really interesting. I didn’t know about the triangles and numbers indicating how recyclable a plastic item was 😀

  2. I am not able to upload my labs to Google drive. There is a virus on my computer that is affecting all uploading and media. So I can’t attach my labs in an email and send it to you. But I didn’t save all the labs I could not upload to my flash drive. Is it okay if we talk about it Monday morning? I’m so sorry that I haven’t been turning in my labs. I thought I got it fixed, But apparently not.

  3. The lab was awesome today! I loved making the “fake snow”! It is also cool to see how the waterlock just soaked up the water!
