Physics 9-10-12 Two Students, a Pelican, and a Rocket (Free Fall Problems Review)

PHYSICS – Happy Monday! Here’s the review we did of a few of the free fall problems today. How are you doing with them? As you are working problems and selecting formulas, it’d be a good idea to ask yourself “Why?”. Why can you use this formula? Why is it legit? Why is it the best one? Is there a better route to the solution? And continue to practice them over and over til it starts to become second nature!

Tomorrow lets take a step in the other direction and look at the concepts. Help session tomorrow morning at 7:15. Any questions?

  1. I was wondering the same thing as Josh, can we eventually erase some formulas on our card to make room for new formulas? And we need to have a rough draft procedure written out for tomorrow, right?

    • Will & Josh – You’ll be using these same formulas all year long, so I don’t think you’ll want to erase them. I think you’ll have room for the main ones, just don’t write too big!

    • Will – And….yes, you definitely need to know what you’re going to do in tomorrow’s lab before you get there! You’ll never get finished otherwise!
