PHYSICS: Great job on the vertical circular motion problems! Since I recorded Friday’s lesson on top of a chemistry lesson, I’m posting an old lecture on finding V-min. (Remember, V-min for vertical circular motion, V-max for horizontal circular motion.) There are also a couple of new centripetal force problems at the end. BTW – how are the cars coming?
When is our test??
About how many weeks do we have until the cars are due?
are there are v max’s and v min’s for both horizontal and vertical circular motion?
Ms. Skinner,
Have we settled on a date for the cars to be due?
Sebastian – Yes, it’s on the syllabus. Feb. 13, you have to bring in a car that runs. Feb. 14 – THE RACE!
What is the difference between centripetal and centrifugal force?
May we have a help session sometime this week before Friday?
May I bring the supplies for my car to class so I can ask for approval for a couple of materials?
Jakin – Sure!
Can we have a help session thurdsay morning? or friday morning?
Jackson – Works for me. Either day is okay, just let me know.
