HON CHEMISTRY: Okay, really, it’s not the hardest thing you’ve ever done – you deal with limiting reactants in your life all the time. Now we’re just applying that same concept with chemical reactions! Here’s the lecture from limiting reactants. Help session? UPDATE – I’ve changed the vodcast to one that hopefully works better for [...]

HON CHEMISTRY: Hey guys, here’s your first lecture on reaction stoichiometry. You did a great job applying what you remember about moles from earlier this year! Dont’ forget the keys! Now all you need is some practice and you’ll have it down pat.

HON CHEMISTRY: Hey guys, here’s an old review we did on stoichiometry problems. Would it help? You’re doing a great job applying what you know and making connections! By the way – if you have copper in an equation with no oxidation number, you can assume that it’s +2.

HON CHEMISTRY: Hey guys, here’s the lecture on the intro to stoichiometry. You did a great job applying what you remember about moles from earlier this year. Now all you need is some practice and you’ll have it down pat!

CHEMISTRY: Good luck studying for the test on Chapter 9! Here’s the test review from Friday. Practice, practice, practice!! Don’t forget about the interactive practice on www.sciencegeek.net. I’ll be praying for you! And I believe in you – you can do this!! flickr photo by Toni Blay

CHEMISTRY: Great job with limiting reactants! Here’s the lecture from Wednesday. It’s tough, but you can do it. Listen to the lecture again if you need some extra help! flickr photo by muffytyrone

CHEMISTRY: Happy Friday, one day early! Here’s the lecture from 6th and 7th period on the second part of stoichiometry. We didn’t have class in 1st or 2nd periods because of the sophomores going to the play, but we did finish mass-mole and mass-mass stoichiometry in 6th and 7th periods. Got that? I’ll finish the [...]

CHEMISTRY: Well, now it’s time to put everything you’ve learned from the last few chapters together! You did a great job with the start of stoichiometry. It’s like cooking – figuring out what you need to get what you want. Slightly different ingredients, though. Don’t forget molar mass and mole ratio! Mole-mole and mole-mass problems [...]

HON CHEMISTRY: I missed you guys today! Here’s the lecture on percent yield. It’s the last of the applications of stoichiometry problems. Lots easier that limiting reactants, I think. You realize what we’ve done… we’ve finished the chapter!! Help session Wednesday morning, 7:15 A.M.

HON CHEMISTRY: Okay, really, it’s not the hardest thing you’ve ever done – you deal with limiting reactants in your life all the time. Now we’re just applying that same concept with chemical reactions! Here’s the lecture from Monday. Help session Wednesday morning, 7:15 A.M. (Thanks for being a good sport today, Jamie!!)
