Chemistry 9-6-13 Relationships Among Data

CHEMISTRY – Can you believe it? We finished the chapter today! Here’s the brief lecture from Friday on direct and inverse proportions and then the beginning of our overview of the chapter 2 test.

Speaking of tests, we’ll have another help session for some of the harder problems on Monday morning at 7:15. BTW – go to Edline and look under “Tests” and you might find something that will help a lot as you begin to study. Yes, it’s time to begin studying; no, it’s not too early. And if you need extra practice on anything, don’t forget the help session Monday. (Sorry! Not Wednesday, Monday!) Begin making a list of the problems you need help with or questions you have.

Also, don’t forget to check out the Interactive Review Games with your online text and also sciencegeek.net. Great practice with both memorization, concepts and problem solving! God bless you as you begin studying! I’ll be praying for you!!

Hon Chemistry 9-4-13 Relationships Between Data

HON CHEMISTRY – Hey guys, here’s lecture from Wednesday on direct and inverse proportions. Just brief info for the test for now, and we’ll put it to practice in a couple of activities after the test. I have not yet posted the graphing activity – I’ll let you know when I do.

By the way, speaking of tests, how’re you doing on these last problems? Are you able to pull together all we’ve done in this chapter? Help session?

Physics 8-15-13 Relationships Among Data

PHYSICS: Are you? A hoarder, I mean? I soooooo don’t want you to be that person that has a million facts crammed in their head, none of which are useful for anything because you can’t apply what you know. So lets work on that this year. Did all the info on types of proportions and graphs come back to you?

Looking forward to seeing what you do with the lab tomorrow! 🙂

Chemistry 9-8-11 Relationalships Among Data

CHEMISTRY – Can you believe it? We finished the chapter today! Kind of a crazy start to class, but do you understand powers of 10 better? Here’s the brief lecture from Thursday on direct and inverse proportions. It is brief info for the test, and then we’ll put it to practice in a couple of activities after the test.

Speaking of tests, one last help session tomorrow, Friday, morning at 7:15. BTW – go to Edline and look under “Tests” and you might find something that will help a lot as you begin to study. Yes, it’s time to begin studying; no, it’s not too early. And if you need extra practice on anything, don’t forget the help session tomorrow! Make a list tonight of the problems you need help with or questions you have. See you tomorrow!

PHYSICS: Are you? A hoarder, I mean? I soooooo don’t want you to be that person that has a million facts crammed in their head, none of which are useful for anything because you can’t apply what you know. So lets work on that this year. Did all the info on types of proportions and graphs come back to you? FYI – when you do the graph for yesterday’s lab, make sure you make them a full page. So did anybody check? Are there 850 million people in the USA? 🙂
