Chemistry 10-10-19 Physical Properties & Changes

CHEMISTRY: So how do you know if something is a physical or a chemical change? Applications, applications! Make sure you can apply what you learned today!

Don’t forget that we’re changing the syllabus – we’re doing a lab, but not the one on the syllabus, and you don’t have to print it.

  1. I give myself a 3.5 on the week because I didn’t study as much as I needed to for the elements. Other than that, I did my graph and did all of my makeup work. So it was a pretty good week.

  2. I give myself a good 4.5 this week because I studied very well on the elements, and did good on my lab report. I did good because I watched the graph video to set up my lab report and studied everyday for the elements. Copper later

    • I rate myself 4 out of 5 this week. I rate this because I got a good grade on my elements quiz, but I could have studied more and prepared better. Also, I turned my graphing exercise in on time and understood how to do it.

  3. I’d rate myself a 4/5 this week. I did great on the elements quiz, all my studying pulled off. I also did pretty good on the graphing exercise, though there were still stuff that I wasn’t very confident in. Overall, this week was great.

  4. I’d rate myself a 4/5 on the week. I didn’t do as well as I had wanted to on the Elements quiz, but I felt like everything else we did this week like the graphing exercises I did well in.

  5. I rate myself a 2.5/5 this week because of stress. I didn’t give myself enough time to study or do the absolute best I could do. Because of my busy schedule it has been difficult keeping up with everything and it has been my fault. I hope to do better in the following weeks at managing stress and time better than I did this week.

  6. This week, I would rate myself a 4/5. I did very well with class work and paying attention, but I could’ve prepared more for the test. In the future, I will try to prepare more every single day, so that I can focus and learn more during class.

  7. This week i rate myself a 3/5. I give myself this rate because I did well on my elements quiz, but I could’ve done better if I would’ve studied more. I also procrastinated a lot on our graphs, but I got it turned in on time.

  8. I give myself a 2 out of five on the week. I could have done better with time management with the graphs and studying for the elements quiz but I did better than I expected too.

  9. I rate myself a 2.5/5 this week. I didn’t do very well the the periodic table quiz and I could’ve done better on studying for it. I’m going to try to find other ways of studying the material.

  10. This week I would rate myself at 3 out of 5. I started studying the elements a while ago, but then I didn’t go back to it until a couple of days ago. So I did the whole last minute studying thing again. And although I should’ve kept it up along the way, I was thankful to learn and retain the information pretty well for the quiz.

  11. I rate myself 4.5 this week because I think I’m doing better. I got my homework and assignments done, I studied for the elements quiz and got a grade I’m super happy with. I would like to keep going on this track and improve my grade and work more in this class to do that. It’s been a good week.

  12. I rate myself a 4 this week. I studied for my elements quiz and made an A, which I was super happy with. And i completed all my homework and graphing activity assignments. I would like to keep this behavior up for the next 9 weeks so that I can make an even better grade in chemistry.

  13. This week I give myself a 3/ because I feel like I could have payed attention better in class and I feel like I need to get better at the graphs and learning how to do them better.

  14. I would give myself a 3 for this week because I feel like I could do better with the graphs. But I did pretty good with the elements quiz.

  15. This week I would rate myself a 4/5. I rate myself this because I prepared myself for the test all ween instead of studying the night before. I’m the future I will prepare even more everyday so I don’t have to study more on the night before.

  16. I rate myself a 4/5 for this week. My lab partner and I did well on the online lab introduction. Also, I feel like I prepared pretty well for the test, but I should have gone over the structure of the periodic table more than I did.

  17. I would rate myself a 4/5 I did really good on my elements quiz and I picked up quickly on the things we learned class helping tons with doing Homework. The graphing assignment really seemed easier than I thought too. I helped to learn also how to inserted my graphs for the future that will really help.

  18. This week I would rate myself a 4/5. I did well on the lab this week and I learned a lot during class. Also I think I did pretty well on the test despite staying up until three studying.

  19. This week, I rate myself a 4/5. I did well on the element pop quiz, and I stayed focused in class. I also think I prepared myself well for the test. But, I do think I could have studied the properties of elements and the structure of the periodic table more in depth.

  20. This week, I rate myself a 5/5. After the most stressful 9 weeks I’ve ever had, and with my back, the change in the scheduling for the game, I adapted my schedule well and made it out of the 9 weeks strong.

  21. I rate myself like a 2 this week. All the online stuff was hard because i missed 2 days of school. But i’m glad this 9 weeks is over. One thing I could have done better in was the quiz. I could have studied a little bit different.

  22. This week I would give myself a 4 out of 5. I am proud of this weeks lab report grade. I should have studied more for the element quiz.

  23. I give myself a 3 out of 5 this week because I did well on the elements quiz, but I struggled getting my graphing exercise turned in and I forgot to do the homework one night.

  24. For this week my web post will be about struggling. I am struggling a little with getting back in the groove of school after a break. I’m going to improve by taking the advantage of starting off on a new clean slate.

  25. Last week I triumphed with the elements quiz, and made an 80. That’s less than I had hoped for, but it’s only because I second-guessed two of my answers and ended up making them wrong. I was able to remember them all because I studied for them, and hopefully I’ll be able to do great this week on the pop quiz.
