  1. This week I learned how to use conversion factors. I will be able to apply this when I am baking don’t have the right size measurement tool. This will allow me to still get the same amount of something while using a different unit instrument.

  2. This week I learned how to use the q formula. I will be able to use this when I need to convert a unit to the unit that is needed to make something. This will allow me to use any unit but I can change the unit to the correct one I need.

  3. I missed this week, so I know I am behind. I’m still trying to figure out the Q method. Once I understand it I know it will help make measurement conversion easier and it will be useful in many different job fields.

  4. This week, I learned how to properly use the Q formula with the help of the help sessions. I applied my new found knowledge to my homework and I’m now feeling pretty confident on my work of the formula.

  5. This week, I learned how to use the Q formula. I applied this knowledge to my homework throughout the week, and I will be able to use the Q formula in life whenever I need to convert from one unit to another confidently from now on.

  6. I have learned how to use the Q formula this week. At first I was having a tuff time with how to use it. However throughout the homework we did this week I got better.

  7. This week I learned how to apply what I know in math to do the Q formula. It took a lot of steps and is still a bit hard to figure out how to do, but I know once I have it down I’ll be able to apply it to chemistry for the rest of the year.

  8. This week I learned more in depth things about the Q formula. I will be able to apply this to any labs or work we do this year in chemistry, and most likely physics too, to solve for the correct unit of measurement.

  9. I rate myself with 4 stars because this week as we reviewed for the test I understood better on how to do the harder Q formula word problems and the harder density, mass, and volume word problems. I even went to a help session this week to do more practice problems like these. I also rate myself with 4 stars because I did really well on the building your balance lab and the Dancing Raisins lab , and I wasn’t confused at all this time.

  10. I rate myself a 3 this week because I was confused about the problems with conversions at first, but I asked questions in class for help. This week for the test I have been studying on the science geek website to prepare myself. I could be more serious with the homework and try harder on it, so that is why my rating is not a 5.

  11. I rate myself a 5 because this week I got way better at preparing for test and quizzes. At first instead of practicing I was just looking at my notes. Now I practice the Q formulas and conversion factions on sciencegeek website.

  12. This week I was able to reflect on how well I have been keeping up with the changes to be able to keep my grades up, I have been doing this by looking back on the past dew weeks and fixing what I was doing wrong.

  13. I rate myself a 4 this week because I have gotten a lot better at using all the formulas and getting the right sig figs. The chapter 2 review helped me practice some problems that I would see on the test, also sciencegeek.com has helped me get some extra practice on converted units which I’ve struggled on. The reason I didnt rate myself a 5 is because I still struggled on converting units, but I am still practicing them.

  14. I rate mysef at a 4 this week because I was able to solve some problems with my scanning app, but I don’t give myself a 5 because I got off track sometimes and didn’t do my homework at an early time.

  15. This week I rate myself at 0.0003 x 10^3. This week I got a lot better at using the Q formula. I really liked the website for the practice problems. It definitely helped with sig figs. But I am still struggling with converting units, but think I can get it by Monday.

  16. I rate myself a 3/5 stars on the test this week. I could have done better if I would have prepared better form the multiple choice and cut out my careless mistakes on the math section. However, I did do good on preparing for the math problems and did better than I expected.

  17. I would rate myself a 4/5 because I stayed on task the entire week and worked the entire class time to get everything done but I struggled with the Scannable app part of the assignment.

  18. This week I would rate myself a 3 out of 5 stars. Having to make up all the work and tests from last week put me under a lot of stress, but I survived and made it through!

  19. This week I rate myself a 4, because I have been working hard in class, and know how to solve the q formula and conversions. The reason I didn’t give myself a 5 is because I haven’t been practicing enough at home like I should be.

  20. this week I rate myself a 3, because I really felt like I learned how to correctly do my Q formula. The reason I feel like I don’t deserve a 5 is because, I didn’t get involved as much as i needed to in class.

  21. This week I rate myself a 4, because I have worked hard in class and understand and know how to do the Q Formula and conversions. I didn’t give myself a 5, because I haven’t practiced enough at home

  22. This week I would rate myself a 2.5 out of 5 stars. I tried so much to work my best, but initially didn’t do my best. I need to make better study habits for myself and I need to learn how to out more effort and initiative into this class. This is probably the most difficult class I have ever been in, and I need to stop slacking. This week could have been better.

  23. I would rate myself a 3.5 out of 5 stars because I understand the Q formula and the density formula but sometimes it is a little hard for me to apply them. I also do not have the best study habits and it doesn’t take too much for me to get distracted, which I need to get better at. Overall, I just need to always pay attention and apply myself. I also need to get better at talking to Mrs. Skinner in class.

  24. I would rate myself a 7 because most of the problems we worked I did fine on. The only problems I have trouble doing is the really big Q Formula problems because it takes time to write down all the conversions you see in the problem before you actually start it ,but the last of it is the hardest setting the Q Formula it self putting all of the problems in one huge problem.

  25. This week I would give myself a 3/5 stars because while I did fail in many aspects and receive lack luster grade on my test I also did a decent job of putting my mind on the goals that needed to be accomplished and staying on task.

  26. This week I would rate myself a 3/5 stars because I understand how to use the Q formula and density problems. The reason I didn’t give my self those two extra points are because I feel like I could’ve practice more at home this week.

  27. I would rate myself from 0-5 stars at a 3 for this week. This week I studied for the test coming up and still had some things I needed to work on to be better. I still need to work on conversion factors and some other things to get better at chemistry.

  28. This week i would rate myself as a 3/5. This week i have actually done pretty good at reviewing over my notes and doing practice problems for the test.

  29. This week, I rate myself a 4 out of 5 stars. On our test, I made a pretty good grade and understood all of the multiple choice material very well. But, for the written problems, I definitely made some careless mistakes that should not have happened. Overall, I think I prepared myself well but in the future will make sure I focus on every detail of the written problems.

  30. This week i would give myself a 3/5. I did better at solving problems involving the Q formula and understanding the them, because i asked questions and practiced solving them.

  31. This week I give myself a 4/5. I have been doing pretty good with the Q formula, especially with the bigger problems for it. I also have been taking my time on my homework and the problems so I get them right.

  32. This week I gave myself a 3 out of 5. I finally figured out the Q formula but it’s still hard for me to apply it in a situation.

  33. This week I give myself a 4 out of 5 stars. I rate myself highly since I went to the help session which helped me with the Q formula. I do not think it’s perfect since I was not prepared for the test on the day originally planned.

  34. This week, I’d rate myself a 4/5 because I thought that I understood significant figures, but after trying problems on science geek, turns out I don’t actually know very much. Over the weekend, I plan on working on that and the other stuff for the test on Monday.

  35. I rate myself a 7/10 stars for this week. I learned a lot during the class time and the labs went very well but I did not get what I want on the test. I need to prepare better for the test next time and be more ready for all of the application type questions because those caught me off guard, and become better at figuring out problems the chemistry way, not the math way. I learned a lot this week in class and I really enjoyed it even though the periods were limited because of the shorter chapel schedule. I hope that next week I can come to class with a better attitude about quizzes/ tests and I can focus so I can do better on the lesson.

  36. I would give myself a 2/5 stars this week. I feel like I get too upset or frustrated when I couldn’t figure things out. I feel that I have practiced the problems over and over but still am not good at them. This would cause me to get frustrated at myself. I also still haven’t figured out how to made a road mad for Q formula problems, but i plan on working on that over the weekend.

  37. This week I’m rating myself at 3 out of 5. I feel pretty confident in what I’ve learned for the test, and I went to the help session, which was good practice and helped to answer my questions. However, I haven’t done well at practicing everything in different ways, and I struggled to look ahead at the week. Since the test wasn’t until Thursday (now Monday), I focused on the urgent work instead of also studying for the upcoming test. I hope to review my notes every day and prepare better daily in for the next chapter.

  38. I rate myself 3 out of 5 stars this week. I could have done a lot better on all parts of the test and I could have studied better, but I learned from my mistakes and know what to do better next time. I also did good on all our class assignments this week.

  39. I rate myself a 3 outta 5 in the morning. I’m disappointed with myself because I wasn’t paying attention as much as I should’ve.

  40. I rate myself a three out of five this week. I’m disappointed in myself because I did not pay attention in class as much as I should have.

  41. I rate myself a 3/5 this week because I got behind in my work but I understand the formulas we’re using in class much more.

  42. I rate myself a 3/5 this week because I paid attention and made sure I wrote down everything we were told will be on the test.

  43. I rate myself a 3 out of 5. I was on top of things. I feel like I was good with the math. I just need to pay more attention to the small details. Excited for next week.
