Chemistry 1-18-19 Half Life Problems

CHEMISTRY: These banana’s been through too many half lives for you?? Great job thinking through the half-life problems! Be sure and practice, practice, practice! They aren’t super difficult, but if you don’t practice, you’ll be as lost as a ball in high weeds!!

What about the Half Life thLab? Now may be the time to get started since next week will be a busy week! Be sure and read the lab ahead of time so you’ll be prepared with the materials you need. I’ll post where you’ll put your results next week.

  1. This week I would rate myself 4/5 because I took good notes and I’ve been doing my homework. There is somethings I could’ve done better but this week was a great week.

  2. So this week im giving myself a 4/5. I think I understood the half-lifes well and I enjoyed learning some about radiation. I Just need to memorize the formulas for decay and I will be all set.

  4. This week I rate myself a 5/5 for the first time. I actually tried to pay attention and take notes. The homework and classwork practice was fairly easy. Hopefully I can keep this up.

  5. This week I would rate myself a 4/5. I feel good about what we learned this week and understood better how to do the half life problems. I hope to begin working on my lab soon and start studying for the test.

  6. This week I would rate myself a 4/5. I’m actually understanding what we’re learning in chemistry this week and I think it will be easier for me than some of the other things we’ve learned that I struggled with. I hope that I will be able to do well in the test too.

  7. I rate myself a 4/5 this week. i missed a couple days and i got behind but i went to the help session and got caught up which i was proud of. although we just started half life its very interesting. i am excited to learn the affects half life has on the things around me everyday

  11. I would rate myself a 4/5. This was another good week for me in chemistry and school in general. I made good grades on all of my homework and I feel like I have an understanding over everything we’ve been learning so far. My chemistry grade still remains the highest out of all my classes so my goal for next week is to study hard for the test to keep it that way. I will definitely be working out some problems rather than just skimming through my notes when I start studying.

  13. I would rate myself a 4 out of 5. Probably would have said 5 but I keep forgetting the web post. Other than that I understood all of the lessons after going over the homework.
