  1. I rate myself a 4/5 this week because I fully understood everything we learned. I understood how to do the calculations. So far, the chapter has been really simple for me because I still remember it from previous years. I did well on the pretest, but I made some silly mistakes. Overall, this week has been pretty good, and all the notes from this chapter make perfect sense to me, and it doesn’t take long to get the hang of the calculations.

  2. I rate myself a 3/5 this week. I made a few stupid mistakes on the memorization section of the pre-test, but I have taken measures to re-studied them so that I do not miss these on the actual test. Also, I understood the concepts this week because they were fairly simple; however, they take some practice to master. The calculation concepts mainly served as a refresher from physical science. Buchanan and I did well on the pop-up labs this week, and I also thoroughly enjoyed them. Overall, this has been a good week and I am ready to pile on more information to our current mound.

  3. I rate myself a 4/5 this week. I didn’t do very well on the pretest, but I am going to keep studying to make sure I KNOW the material. I felt really confident during our lab yesterday about finding the moles of H2O in a drop of water, and I also felt really confident during the lab today about how much chalk was in my name.

  4. This week, I give myself 4 stars. This week included a lot of memorization and that is one of the things I am good at. I can memorize a lot of things quickly but I struggle with recalling that information later on. I need to learn from this and prepare for quizzes and tests earlier on and not rely on quick memorization.

  5. I would rate this week a 4/5. My pretest wasn’t very good but I’m continuing to study to fix this. The mini-labs this week were pretty fun and I actually understood them. The concepts from this week are pretty easy to do and understand. I just need to make sure that I commit the conversions to memory.

  6. I rate myself 4/5 this week. Although I didn’t think I did well on the pretest when I took it, I made a good grade on it. I want to study harder next time so I will be confident in my answers. The mini labs this week were a lot of fun and I understood how to do them.

  7. This week I rate myself a 3/5. I have learned to be thankful for homework and pop-up-labs because they will help me do well on the test. I have made several mistakes this week and thanks to checking the homework and Ms. Skinner reviewing our pop-up-labs I won’t make the same mistakes again on the test.

  8. I rate myself a 3/5 this week. I didn’t do as well as I would have liked on the pretest but I learned from my mistakes and I think I understand how I need to study to do better. All the pop-up labs we did this week were super fun and I’ve managed to stay ahead on homework all week. The calculations were tough at first but once I got used to the Q formula again, I caught on pretty quick.

  9. This week was a pretty good week, so I rate it a 4/5 stars! I did very well on the pretest, but I know I can still improve by practicing those skills and going over the terms we had to memorize. The conversion problems were a little confusing at first, but practicing those problems for our homework had really helped me understand how to convert! The mini labs have been very fun, interesting, and a good way to apply what we have been learning. I am excited to make up the chalk mini lab sometime next week!
