Chemistry 4-5-18 Resonance & Polyatomic Ions

CHEMISTRY: Wow! Lewis structures, multiple bonds, and now resonance and polyatomic ions! That’s a lot you’ve conquered in the last couple of days!

Here’s some good advice – don’t take shortcuts. Learn the proper steps on the easier molecules, and you’ll be able to do the hard ones. And if it’s still all Greek to you, don’t worry! Keep practicing and you’ll get it, I promise!! Don’t forget to count electrons and don’t forget CONS!

  1. I would rate myself a 4/5 this week. I learned a lot and I received a load of answers to my questions about the project we’re doing. By the way, thank you for the extension, Ms. Skinner! 🙂

  2. This week was a 5/5 for me. For one, it’s a shorter week. Not to mention that chemical bonds are a simple concept to me. I’m sure it’ll get more complicated down the road, but it should be no problem. I’m starting to shift into full gear for the project. With the english paper looming closer, time gets a bit tight. I’ll figure it out though!

    • I rate myself a 4/5 this week. I’ve gotten a lot of research done on my project and the extension really helped. Thanks Ms Skinner!

  3. This week i rate myself a 4/5. I have understood the lessons well and did good on my homework. I’m also so happy Ms Skinner gave us an extra week for our project!! It was much needed for me for sure and i am feeling thankful.

  6. I would rate myself a 4/5 this week.I understand what we have learned in class this week.Thank you for the extension Ms.Skinner!

  7. I would rate this week of chemistry a 4/5. I understood everything we did in class and took excellent notes. I think I need to review polyatomic ions again. I have already begun my project.
Thank you for the Extension of the project, Ms.Skinner.

  8. I would rate myself a 3/5 this week because I haven’t worked much on my project, but I have a plan to get it done. I understood the material in class well, so I don’t think normal homework will get in the way of the project.

  9. This week in chemistry I felt like I understood most of the work in class. I completed all of my homework and I have started my project

  10. I rate myself a 4/5 this week because I need to work on my project more. I did all my homework understand the lesson.

  11. This week in chemistry I would rate myself a 4/5. I went back and watched the videos on resonance, and I’ve refreshed myself on polyatomic ions so I feel like I am ahead on that part. I am working on the project slowly and getting all the information I need.

  12. This week I rate myself a 4/5. I feel very comfortable with the lessons we learned this week. I just need to get started on my project.

  13. this week i rate myself a 4/5 i thought doing the Lewis structure was pretty simple. the only thing i think i struggled on was the double and triple bonds. i have gotten my information for the project and i am pretty sure i will do good

  14. This week I would rate myself a 3.5/5 this week. I did very good on all my note taking and worked hard on my project today. Thank you for the class time to work. Ready to work hard this weekend.

  22. l give myself a 4/5 for this week. l loved that it was a shorter week and the lesson we’re learning is very easy for me. The project is stressing me out just a little bit. l am great that it got moved to a later date, thank you Ms.Skinner! Overall, a pretty good week in chemistry!

  23. I rate myself a 4/5 this week. This week was pretty easy except the I need more practice on the Lewis Structures. I’m not sure i’m doing them completely rignt. However, this extension on the project is amazing!

  24. I would write myself a four out of five this week. I enjoy doing the Louis structures but I’m also stressed about the project. At the same time I’m enjoying it.

  25. This week was a 5/5 for sure. Not only did I manage to get decent sleeps which helps when chemistry is first period but all the chemical bonds and Lewis structures made sense to me. My project is coming along well and I’m not as stressed about it as I thought I’d be.

  26. This week I give myself 3/5. I missed two homeworks so I don’t feel too well about what we are learning. I have made great progress on the project and I am actually enjoying it! Thank you so much for the extension!!!
