  1. This week I would rate myself a 4/5. The pre-test caught me off guard, but I was able to pick myself up and keep moving forward. Also, me and my lab partner did a good job of applying what we knew in order to figure out how many molecules are in a drop of water.

  2. This week a triumph was the activity we did in class today. My partner and I both successfully calculated the chalk in our names. We also had fun while we worked!
It was also very good practice for what we are learning!

  3. This week has been pretty challenging for me. The pre-test was rough, and I could’ve done a lot better. However, that grade being not so great will influence me to improve my studying habits. On the bright side, I am getting better with the conversions in this chapter and I think with practice I could be quite good at them.

  4. This week I give myself a 4/5 because though I made an awful grade I quickly realized where I went wrkngvand how to fix. Also the “mini labs”, as I call them I was able to do with relative ease.

  5. I rate myself a 2/5 this week. I could have studied better for the pretest and I missed two days this week. I also turned my lab into turnitin super late because I forgot to do it until the zero was put on powerschool. Overall I’m disappointed in myself and more determined to study super hard for the test and make sure I have all my common elements, ions, and acids completely memorized and pull up my grade. I missed the water drop lab, but I think I understand what I am supposed to do in scientific terms. The only triumph this week is the fact that I understand the lessons about molar mass and molecules.

  6. This was a challenging week for me with the chemical formulas and the pre-test. But I plan on studying more over the weekend so I can have them down. I did well on the mini labs using moles and the Q formula. I also completed all of my homework in a timely manner.

  7. I rate myself a 3/5 this week. The pre-test was a challenge, but I’ve started to go back and really memorize the formulas. I’m stuggling to recall what I learned, but I’m improving

  8. I rate myself a 4/5 this week. I didn’t do as well as I would’ve liked on the pretest, but I’m studying with some friends to memorize it more permanently. I think I actually did most of my homework this week???? Since when does that happen??? I’m working on getting my act together about that though 😉

  9. I would rate myself 3/5 for the week. I did decently on the pretest, but I stayed up too late studying for it. Because of my lack of sleep, I made careless mistakes on it. I kept up with homework finally. The mini labs were quite successful. Overall, it was an okay week in chemistry.
