Physics 10-20-17 Forces & Equilibrium

PHYSICS: So, how is the balance in your life? Here’s the lesson from Friday on net force, equilibrium, and equilibrants. Were you experiencing a little déjà vu?

Great job today! Thank you, all of you, for being such good sports!!!

  1. This week I rate myself a 3 out of 5. To be honest I struggled with the inertia part of class this week. I don’t know why but I could not get it down. I also did not do the inertia lab as well as I wanted to. I caught on to the equilibrium problems we worked today. I think that is because they are very similar to problems we have previously worked. I hope to have a better week nexr week in Physics.

  2. I would rate myself a 3/5 this week. I struggled a little bit with the concept behind the thLab while I was home sick but once I got back into it I understood it well and was very pleased with our inertia lab because we hardly had any error. I also understood all the equilibrium problems that we set up in class today and am looking forward to applying that knowledge this weekend.

  3. I would rate myself a 3/5 this week. I struggled figuring out how to do the inertia balance lab at first but then was able to figure out what to do. Our group ended up being less than 1% error away from the actual mass. I understood how to do the equilibrium problems because they are just the vector problems with different units.

  4. This week in physics has been challenging. I would rate myself a 3 out of 5 because the inertia lab really stumped me at first. I eventually understood what to do and I feel like we did well on it. I feel like I’m picking up on inertia really well right now and the bowling ball activity really helped me understand the concept. I can’t wait to start again next week.
