  1. I would rate myself a 4 out of 5 for this week. Although I missed class on Monday, I watched the vodcast, and I think it helped a lot! At the very least, it ensured that I would not be totally lost on Tuesday. Though I had some conceptual and mathematical questions relating to concepts on the homework, I feel like I did fairly well. I enjoyed playing with resonance today! It is always cool when we can talk about concepts on the board and on paper and then see them in real life. I am glad we got to talk a little about the test today. The harmonic problems really do not seem like that much trouble, so I am glad they will be on the test. I am undoubtedly a little worried about this test simply because it is mainly focused on concepts. Conceptually based test always challenge me; I prefer the math ones. Nonetheless, I have been studying hard, and I will continue to study so that I may hopefully pull through tomorrow!

  2. I would rate myself a 4 out of 5 stars for this week. Finishing chapter 12 with sound intensity, resonance, harmonics, and beats was fairly easy to understand at the beginning of this week. It was so cool being able to see how God makes everything in the world work together, all the way down to the intricacy of sound waves and frequencies. I felt confident about all of the types of problems we had gone through, and I reviewed over all of the concepts heavily. Though I always study so hard for everything, I just can’t seem to ever be confident enough in myself. I always overthink things while I’m taking tests, and I get so anxious. I did the very best I could on the test, but I am disappointed in myself for overthinking certain problems and questions like always. I wish I could learn how to be at peace during tests and trust that the Lord will help me to remember all that I have studied so diligently. Now, on to finish Rube Goldberg for Tuesday!

  3. This week I give myself 4 out of 5 stars. The lesson this week was relit overly easy for me to understand. At first I struggled with understanding harmonics, but Pat helped explain the concept to me and I understood them much better. The problems seemed simple, so I hope I did not make any silly mistakes on the test. Rube Goldberg is going much better than getting the first five steps. My group has ten steps currently and we are now just adding on and decorating. Now we just have to figure out how to get the box up the stairs.

  4. This week I would rate myself 4 out of 5. I would give myself this rating because I did ok on the concepts this week, but not on the project. The lessons that we learned this week might have been confusing at first, but I was able to go back and review those lessons to prepare for the test. I also did not do as well on the Rube Goldberg Project. My group only has Monday to meet, and we are not completely done yet.

  5. Another week of physics has come & gone. We’re really getting close to the end now. This week, I would give myself a 4/5. (I know, very original) Throughout this chapter, I’ve quickly been able to pick up the concepts & accurately work the problems. This feels as though it has been the best set of chapters for me. I guess we’ll see how true that is when I get my test back. Speaking of the test, I believe it went well, though I have said that before. In regards to our RGB, it is coming along like a dream. My group has been able to quickly & efficiently put together a working RGB. As we have hit trouble spots, we’be worked together to find a new solution. Though our schedules conflict & make life crazy for us, I really believe I’m in the best possible group. We are all three very diverse, which is leading to some great work in my opinion.
