Chemistry 4-3-17 Ionic Vs. Covalent Bonds & Metallic Bonds

CHEMISTRY: Happy Monday! Here’s the lecture on ionic vs. covalent bonding, followed by metallic bonding.

Aren’t you glad there are no structures to draw for metallic bonds?! Make sure you can use the electron sea model to explain the properties of metals. Also be able to compare and contrast all three types of bonds.

  1. This week I did a really good job of working at explorer zone I worked good on my project also I did a good job at my home work I worked well with others at explorer zone. I would rate myself a 4/5

  2. This week in chemistry I would rate myself a 4/5 because I understood metallic bonding and the differences between metallic bonding and ionic bonding. Although I didn’t work in explore zone, I had fun helping out some.

  3. This week was pretty fun with the explore zone and touring the title kids and seeing everything with them. I also understood the metallic bonding and ionic bonding this week.

  4. This week, I would rate myself a 4/5 because I understood nearly everything about differences in metallic bonding and ionic bonding. Although there are a few things that I am still needing to study in order to completely have the differences memorized. Overall, I feel like I did very good this week in chemistry.

  5. This week was easy for me with the explorer zone. The bonding was kinda confusing but once I studied it I understood it. I just need to manage my time more for this project

  6. This week I would rate myself a 3/5. I didn’t do explore zone because of my grades but now I wished I did. It sounded really fun and I will do it next year for sure. I took really good notes and I hope they help me on the upcoming test
